Laverna's Coffee Shop

Lavernas is our go to for my family! It's perfect for the kids my favorite is the apple pecan pancake you only need one! They're huge! Biscuits & gravy is a plus! Omelets are huge as well, everything is made with love. No matter how poppn it is inside you'll always get help with what you need. It's cozy, my mom always brought me & my brother. & now I bring my children. It's a special spot for us. Thanks Lavernas ♡

This is another place that I had been wanting to try for a while and finally got around to it about a month ago. I had a great breakfast there (country fried steak, eggs, biscuits & gravy) and knew that this was a place I wanted to revisit.
I took my parents there yesterday and they enjoyed it as well. My dad is not into trying new things, so it took quite a bit to get him there. That should say something in itself. I ordered a blueberry pancake. It was delicious, but it was so big that I gave some to my dad. It was only $6 and some change!
The curb appeal was also a hurdle for my dad to get past, but once I got him inside and ordering food, that didn't matter to him anymore. We all agreed that it's one of the special things about this place. It's a welcoming cozy atmosphere and the waitresses are genuinely nice and friendly.

Ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod...thank you for everything that is Lavernas! It is the best little diner you can ever hope for. Great breakfast, maybe the best! I recommend everything, but especially the specialty pancakes. What the cooks do there is incomparable! I go at least once every time I come to town!

Nice friendly faces and good customer service. Clean isn't the word it's spotless. Then. You know whenever you walk into a restaurant and see mom and pop back there it's finna be good!!!!!!😁😁😁😁

First time went here ordered Olmete home fries were Hard and burned and Toast was not good I put a pic up but not worth $14.00

Was surprised and delighted this morning to find out they have machaca and eggs on the menu... delicious! They also have red and white menudo on Sundays! This is not your usual coffee shop/cafe. Really nice people. Really good food.

Coffee shop? Nope. Good old fashion diner. Hidden Jem tucked into a no frills façade. Crispy bacon, lots of coffee brown mug and fried eggs.

Holy cow why did I wait to hit this place up.

Great food, great service and centrally located

Fantastic little hole in the wall with an unassuming store front. For $3.99 anytime you can get 2 eggs, home fries and 2 biscuits with gravy! The servers work hard and are seen rushing around to get to all their tables as quick as they can but expect a bit of a wait when it's busy. If you're lucky you can get what I like to call "the living room" and enjoy breakfast or lunch on the couch! I always leave here full and ready to go back to bed haha.

I've heard good things about this place. I got the red menudo.... probably won't be back again. At least not for the menudo, maybe I'll try something else if I go back.
