The Local Prescott

Ordered to go. Picked up order and had to ask for the coffee and sugar and utensils. No biggie. By the time I got to the car the salad had opened and was mostly on the bottom of the bag. Headed down the hill homebound. Fifteen minutes later we figured out our bacon order and the syrup for the pancakes were missing. We paid for them. I called and asked the manager manager to refund my bacon. He said he couldn’t, that he was really slammed and I should call back later. Seriously! He offered me a gift card or my bacon if I would come get it. I gave him my number and asked him to call me back when he had time to refund me for what I didn’t get. He didn’t call me back. To top it off the pancakes tasted like rancid oil. Yuck!

I just love the food here. It is fresh and healthy and super good. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is great. This is my favorite local restaurant for breakfast in town.

The place was clean and the atmosphere was nice. However, all the food was bland and the cappuccino tasted burnt. Our server was nice and attentive, but he didn't know the vegetables of the day. Then one of our items didn't come out and we had to ask for it. To top it off our item didn't come out with the vegetables of the day. Probably wouldn't return.

We arrived just shy of an hour before closing. A group of 14ish, sitting at multiple tables with a large dog, a small toddler, and multiple dietary requirements. A servers worst nightmare! But our server Joy and everyone who assisted her were wonderful! Patient and accommodating, we weren't rushed or made to feel like a nuisance. I can't speak about the food, I only had a small salad and a beer but they were very good.

Great food and great service! The dog paintings that decorated the walls were hilarious.

After I took a sip of my stevia chai, I knew this place would garner 5 stars. I've never had a stevia chai before but I love chai tea. This was so amazing that I was hoping I could buy the mix for it (sadly, they don't sell it). Our server Christine was wonderful and funny. We shared our plates because we like to taste everything. We ordered the Broken Sammie, Frittata, Chorizo Hash and French toast with green hatch chili sausage and gravy.
It was hard to choose my favorite. I love sweet so maybe the French toast? But I also love potatoes and the loaded smashers were delicious, especially with the amazing spicy gravy I added on top. The frittata was unique and yummy although so was the chorizo hash for that matter. I would come here often if I lived here!

This place has a very unique menu and outstanding food. It's popular, and noisy, so keep that in mind when waiting to get a seat and trying to hold a conversation. They have a bargain at the front desk where you can buy an $80 card to cover $100 towards your meal.

Delicious food!!

Amazing food. We all had different meals and no one was disappointed. It was a little slow to get food but it was Mother's Day and busy so I get it. A little loud, but we loved the art throughout.

This place is definitely for Prescott Locals and visitors who want to feel the heart of the city. Everything locally grown, with beautiful dishes, and service from the heart. Can’t wait to have mimosas next time!
