The Local Prescott

The entrees were great but the Yukon gold smashers were pretty bland. You get two baby potatoes for 4.75 lol. We got the hatch chili biscuits and gravy which was a great spin on a traditional meal.

Stupendously mediocre and comically overpriced. Coffee is good (and at 4 bucks, it better be), staff is great--with one exception--but man... that food. If you're going to charge 15 bucks for pancakes, they got to be better than that. The biscuits are actually quite good, but the gravy is sorely lacking (becoming a liability to the biscuits, as it tastes like cheap, turkey mush), and their hot sauce selection is either red or green vinegar (not theirs, it's from some local vendor). Also, and while I really don't mind paying it, they give you a laminated note, hidden under the avalanche of receipts, informing you that they pass the credit/debit card transaction fee on to you, something that could REALLY stand to be more conspicuous. Two and a half stars.

Treated my aunt, bestie, and sister to a meal here and the waitress that helped us was incredible. She was patient, attentive, and kind.

I don't remember her name, but I do remember she had an adorable cat tattoo on her left ankle. I hope that helps her to get some recognition for a job very well done.

The food was incredible, too. Well worth the trip.

Claire was very informative, patient and kind making this experience even better than being delighted by the, vegetarian, vegan and even Plant Paradox compliant food selections combine all of that with their Eco-friendly ethical business model and I will return 🥰

Food is amazing, wait staff even better. The hatch green chili biscuits and gravy was recommended and did not disappoint.

I wish there was one near me, because it is excellent! Fresh ingredients, paired flavors, savory choices. Lots of vegetarian options. I had the Southwest Sunrise, it was perfect. The ginger aioli was perfect. The yukon smashers were amazing. The staff was great.

Oooeee The Local is definitely the spot to hit for breakfast. Large portions, great prices and remarkable service. It was packed on a Sunday morning, I waited 5 minutes for a table and 5 minutes for my food to arrive. The Loller Special is delectable and their breakfast burrito is phenomenal. The coffee is top notch served in a nice large mug. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and worked fast. Easy 5 stars for this breakfast joint.

Love this spot. Great vegan options. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend when in Prescott.
