Not tasty at all! The food is so bad. I ordered flat pancakes and they were with lots of baking powder and tasted bitter, and terrible. Maple syrup not real and too sweet.
Hot pod is so wired. Like soup with bread with different type of eggs on the top and inside mostly peas from can and corn from can. So wired like I said and not tasty. Even you can’t eat all these type of food together.
And fruits to the soup.

The food is very authentic and modern. Gorden Ramsey would like it too. Interior is unlike usual Downtown Prescott old design and I thought it was unique.

Great place for breakfast all day. They have a great menu and also a mini vegan menu also the place had exterior sitting as well as interior.
Many paintings on the walls. Very nice staff. Food was great. Got the vegan burrito, yummy!

The Local is a family owned cafe, open for breakfast and lunch. The menu is a wonderful mix of fresh, made-from scratch, locally sourced ingredients that are artfully crafted into delicious plates of Southwestern style dishes. This unassuming local spot in Prescott, just off the beaten path, surprised us - both in quality and flavor. I had the Southwest Sunrise, but substituted whole grain bread for the english muffin. The flavor of the ginger aioli with the arugula and egg was genius! Just a beautiful plate of food! My husband had the Broken Egg Sammie, but had them serve it over their Yukon Gold Smashers and had them put the toast on the side. Again, quality, flavor, and attention to sauces and textures made this dish stand out above other breakfast restaurants. I noticed that they also offer bottomless Mimosas on the weekend with fresh squeezed orange juice! That's always a rare find. Scratch-baked goods, hot tea done the right way, an espresso bar, and a vegan menu just make The Local better than the rest. A must-stop for breakfast, whether on your way through town or on your way to work! It was the perfect way for us to start our day.

This place is DIALED IN! Seriously good food in a laid back minimalist-ish space with strong coffee and so much good vibin’! Healthy options and not-so-healthy options on an extremely varied menu. The attention to detail in everything they do is spot on and they’re careful to give a story on what and how they do things (food and plate sourcing, local, recycled and all things hippie/responsible!)
We ordered the Dutch pancake and that lemon curd is drool-worthy. The tamale plate comes with two thick veggie tamales that are grilled (!) and drenched in a salsa Verde unlike any I’ve had before. Side of smashed sweet potatoes rounded it out nicely as a sub for us non-Carnivores. Coffee roasted by Prescott Coffee Roasters tips off a breakfast at a place that now tops the list of cafes for us. Thanks guys!! We’ll be back... tomorrow. And the next day, and the next... 😊

The staff was very polite and our server was cheerful and helpful. We quickly received our drinks but had to wait over 30 mins for yogurt and an order of eggs/potatoes/bacon. The chai was bland. My Greek yogurt was served with dried up yogurt on the sides of the bowl. The pineapple was bitter, but the granola was delicious and gluten free. I understand higher prices for organic, quality ingredients, but the flavors and plating presentation of my meal and tea made it questionable if worth it. I was thrilled to see the gluten-free pastries and the lemon cookie was yummy! I’d go back just for that again.

Our waitress, Annetta, was very friendly and helpful. However the food experience was less than stellar. I ordered the Frittata which was very watery and had big globs of cheese on top. The veggies in the frittata were in huge pieces. Usually Frittatas baked and this one appeared to have been made in a skillet. The "Smashers" potatoes were COLD. Very unappetizing. My husband ordered the Huevos Rancheros which he states was just average and it was served just warm and not hot. His smashers potatoes were also Cold. Our waitress brought out a small plate of warmer ones. She also did offer my husband a pastry on the house to compensate. When the check came, along with it was a laminated card that stated that if you choose to pay with a credit card that there would be a fee added. Needless to say we paid cash and will not be returning.

The food was very good. It was a very busy place and very friendly people. The waitress was very informative about the menu. I liked the mashers which is their version of potatoes which were made with Yukon Gold Potatoes. A little expensive for my taste but the food was good. I had "the Broke Egg Sammie". The only reason that I didn't give a 5 star review was because of extra charge of the credit card fee which is a 3% fee on the total bill. So be prepared to pay a credit card fee if you pay with your card.

Excellent breakfast stop when we were passing through town. The diner was decorated beautifully and staff was really friendly and attentive.
We loved the iced lattes and our breakfast, the quality of the ingredients was super fresh. We almost grabbed some baked goods on our way out because they looked so good and they had gluten free options. We didn't this time since they wouldn't keep on our trip. We would definitely stop again if in the area and would highly recommend a stop if you're in the area.
