The Century Lounge

Dr. Allen here. My wife and I love supporting local and checking out new places. We were excited to give this place a try on our day off. As fellow business owners, we wanted to share our honest thoughts. The Century Lounge is a cool and unique addition to Cortez St and the Prescott foodie scene. Gabriel, the cashier/barista, was very professional. He gave us a warm, genuine SMILE when we walked in (always appreciated) and was extremely polite. Although he was the only one working the morning we arrived, he did his best to prepare our order in a timely manner AND accomodate the line of customers that came in behind us. That's a lot of pressure but kudos to him for handling it with grace and finesse! Due to the fact this is a historic building, the space can get cold, naturally, but the space heaters were a welcome addition. Our vanilla/caramel lattes were absolutely sublime: served in a nice, warm mug at the perfect drinking temperature and not too sweet! Top that off with a flakey, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate croissant, and you've got yourself a winner! We also split a half ham & cheese and half proscuitto, apple, & brie sandwhich which unfortunately was a bit dry and, surprisingly, lacking in flavor. Don't wanna knock them too hard for that though. We really did like this place and would definitely come back for their coffee and pastries.
Getting off the ground as a new business is a challenge for anybody and certain to have its share of growing pains. Hopefully, they can improve their sandwhiches/operations a bit. (Do this and I will be more than happy to give 5 stars!) Otherwise, they are off to a great start. Keep up the excellent customer care. Wishing y'all great success. I see The Century Lounge becoming a downtown staple/go to hangout spot for residents and visitors alike!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service. it’s such a chill place to have a great cup of coffee. I highly recommend getting a Vanilla Latte.

Great coffee shop!
We have tried several in the area, as we are always looking for great coffee to go with the great pastries we get at the local bakeries. We have never been impressed with any of the other coffee shops. This one is the best! Only one other patron when we got there but there were three other groups when we left.
Adam was our barista and he did a great job. We got a drip coffee, breve cap, breve latte, regular latte and a Chai latte. Everyone enjoyed their drinks!
We liked the seating arrangements, Christmas decorations and music (jazz with no words). The standard non Christmas decor was not our favorite, but that is a small thing overall. We will definitely be back!

I love their dirty chair latte and pastries! Such a rad coffee spot in Prescott, Arizona!

They rebottled their Scotch with cheap whiskey. I was served from the Laphroaig bottle but anyone that knows Laphroaig knows if it tastes like regular rye whiskey, it was not Laphroaig. I don’t care about the pettiness of the taste… but to defraud their guests with rebottling is beyond shameful. **DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT**

Perfect cappuccino. Service was top notch. Century Lounge is beautiful. Great place to meet a friend or enjoy some solitude.

Lovely coffee shop in downtown , great selection of coffees and seasonal drinks. Quick and easy food options, bagels , oatmeal & lots of fresh baked treats.

Stopped in during lunch and had a ham sandwich and a latte. The staff was really friendly, the seating was comfortable and they had Wi-Fi available. Definitely will be back!

Had coffee and a blueberry muffin with a friend and it was a great Atmosphere and sweet stuff.
