South Restaurant + Coffeehouse

Absolutely wonderful experience. It was a very busy day, but all of the staff were kind and efficient. The food was so good and we are sad to not live in the area as we would make this a regular stop.

Our server was great. Our meals were lack luster. I had the seafood soup and my fiance had the “special.” Both our meals tasted like bad left overs heated up half way in the microwave. And we spent $80 on two meals and 1 desert, no drinks. Used to like this place for breakfast (even with the small portion sizes.) A real bummer. Went to Taco Bell on the way back to the hotel.

We came in for dinner. Nothing really wrong with the restaurant. But would say the place is a bit pricey for what it is food, place and service wise. It is just a simple eatery with a prime price tag. So if you have proper expectations you will enjoy it. I heard their brekfast/brunch is better than dinner

Nice ambience. Great service. I had the Vegan Huevos Divorciados and they were outstanding! The presentation was great and the flavors a quite literal party in my mouth. Cholula was on the table, but I didn't want to mask any of the flavors, and the dish already had a little kick to it. I followed this up with a blueberry and lemon scone. It was warm and simply melted in my mouth. Would absolutely recommend and return.

Have been going here off and on for several years. Took my son and parents to dinner for a birthday celebration and it seems that the food and service have changed drastically in the last year. The food was horrible and the service was less then up to par. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and the dressing was disgusting and was not correct. I asked for something else and it never came. My family was done with there food so I told them not to bother. We had to continue to ask for water. The restaurant was not full or busy. For the price I would have went to a different place. Very disappointed. The calamari was disgusting as well. Much different then it use to be. So many thing have changed. Probably won’t go back.

So happy they're participating in the Vegan Chef Challenge! We had their special vegan panna cotta for dessert, and it was perfection. All of their vegan dishes were incredible. Thank you!

Fancy, nice people, good food, and the menu is simple yet covers many bases. I will go here again.
I love the Tofu Bahn Mi and the bloody Mary was awesome!

Busy parking area hard to find a place to park on Saturday, Ordered the eggs benedict for breakfast, literally was drowned in Hollandaise Sauce, a bit over kill which made the Eggs Benedict kind of sloppy. Flavor thus was not what it should have been. Wait staff are busy and it took a while to get a refill on coffee and water. I would say the place looks upscale inside but is a bit overpriced for the quality of food.

Not our server's issue at all, but kitchen service was soooo slow. We knew we would have to wait to be seated but not wait an additional hour for food, once seated.
Food was not as good as in the past; not nearly as good, and the prices have increased, alas.
