AK Alchemist Coffee

I adore the alchemist. Great food and drinks. great music. great vibes. great price. Food can be hella quick or mad slow so ask before you order if you're in a rush. It just depends on how many orders are in front of you because it's a small kitchen.

How does it take over an hr for 3 sets of tacos, 1 nacho and a burger? Waited for an hr an 15 minutes and our food was still not done. People around us were getting their food and we sat there. Waitress did not come back to update us on the order or ask if we needed any more drinks. Finally got fed up with being hungry, thirsty and cold so decided to leave.

The food was great. Had halibut tacos & fried ice cream. Waitress/ bartender was very personable & friendly. Super casual, relaxed, outdoor table. Heard it was crazy busy during summer but we were there in the middle of the week after the main tourist season. Plan on going back to try some of the other menu items.

Good pulled espresso drinks. Quirky restroom and ICP Juggalo Ronald behind the counter. What more needs be stated?

First visit. We did halibut Tacos and reindeer Crunch wrap. Both were excellent.... Though my wife doesn't prefer cilantro, but forgot to ask for it to be held. We'll be back.

Truly an Alaskan native Anchorage treasure tucked into A Street and Fourth. the service was polite, prompt, courteous. We had two deliscious breakfast sandwiches and the Reindeer Sausage was very good. The wife liked her Breakfast ham an cheeses on cresaunt. Overall A good experience

Ordered a raspberry white chocolate mocha. For almost $7 (including tip), it wasn't anything to write home about. But their food menu looks pretty good. I am told the prices are high because of their rent due to their location. Skip the coffee. Go for food.

Walked up to the window at 8:39am. Two men were talking to each other inside. One looked at me and continued his conversation. No greeting, no give us a minute or we are not open yet, etc.

After about 20 more seconds I decided they are doing so well there that they didn’t need my money. Good for them. A problem every busy should want.

Excellent food and great service. You eat outside in the AK Bar Beer Garden next door. One of the cups of Latte I have had in a long time. There is A Mexican style, tacos, burritos, etc., but with Alaskan ingredients halibut and reindeer. I had reindeer corn tacos. Delicious!
