What a wonderful spot!! I literally think about the sandwiches from this place a few times a week. They are so, so good!! Served on homemade focaccia bread with incredible house seasoning (that you can also buy in jars to take home) you can opt for hot/grilled sandwiches or your traditional cold sandwiches.

While I can't deny the hot sandwiches, I can say the cold originale is (insert chef kiss here)! They also have salads, soup and a couple pizzas.

The owners were so, so welcoming and thankful for our business which is always nice. Do yourself a favor and check them out when in Anchorage. You can thank me later!

Relaxed authentic feeling atmosphere. I had the Il Diavola sandwich. Crispy and light grilled focaccia bread and a mixture of meats that all compliment each other. There is a light spice and burst of heat that is cooled by the fresh mozzarella cheese. I look forward to trying more of their delicious menu items!

The best Italian sandwiches ever. The spicy potato salad is superb👌. I'm Always greeted with friendly and courtious people.

WHAT A BOMB! Love it and could not recommend enough! They have so many special and unique ingredients (they use authentic Italian ingredients), love their sandwiches/paninis combinations! A must try when in downtown Anchorage! Just wish they were open longer hours...

I haven’t had a bad sandwich from them. The funky dust is delicious, we brought home a container and we went through it so fast! The desserts are delicious and the mocha was divine. But absolutely mouthwatering sandwich. I love stopping by on the way to the airport and eating a sandwich there and grabbing one to go for my trip!

Decided to hit this place up with some friends. We were all very impressed. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious. Still need to go back and try the pizza.

This place deserves the most praise for every time I have eaten in and ordered to go. They construct all their sandwiches and pizzas with love and attention to proportions which I find very hard to find when it comes to making a sandwich. Their ingredients are fresh and authentic to Italy and the service matches that quality. They have a good selection of alcoholic beverages for an afternoon beer. Located in an unassuming space in downtown, it’s the perfect lunch spot and worth the fight for street parking to experience the goodness.

In addition to prepared food, they have a small deli providing those authentic ingredients I have failed to find anywhere else in Anchorage. This is a must go place. Thank you Originale for being just that, Original!

When you Come here sometimes you are greeted and sometimes you are not. Best hot panini style Italian sandwhiches ! Always get the hot spicy one and the muffleta! A big fan of the chocolates too, personally I didn’t care for the pinsa not for me. I love there potatoes salad and I wish we would be back sooner!

Only open for lunch, but amazing flavor! I had a Great sandwich! I had the il Diavolo, a little spicy and very delicious. Would highly recommend Originale to everybody! I will definitely be coming back!
