Kaffee Klatsch

Stopped here when I really needed a place to sit, be still and enjoy a warm drink. It was absolutely perfect for this very thing :)
I enjoyed the Midnight white tea and sat at one of the solo desk-tables by a window; felt a bit like I was transported back to my solo travels in Europe, which was totally delightful. I will be back next time I’m in Anchorage!

Kaffee Klatsch is a wonderful German bakery and cafe! Birgit(who I believe is the owner) was so kind and welcoming. I bought an Americano and it was delicious. The baked goods are homemade and when I was there, I could see Brigit rolling out dough and making the pastries in the back which was lovely!

Finally good espresso in Anchorage (and Alaska)! Very friendly staff and the coffee is superb! Also took a blueberry Danish which tasted fresh and balanced. Will come again for sure 👌

Handmade and authentic delicious German baked goods, served and prepared by Birgit the hostess and owner of the little Cafe. She makes you feel very welcome.
The cafe is very quiet and peaceful decorated in a unique office-like design with big bright windows.

Their bakery items are soooo good, wonderful taste, perfect texture, and the lady who baked the item is incredibly nice. The environment is extraordinary too.

The Streusel and Apple Roses were fantastic, as well as the assortment of Teas and coffees (with chaga, lion’s main etc)!!! I highly recommend!!

Have been coming here regularly for a couple months and every cup of coffee has been great. It’s a good quite environment to get some work done while enjoying delicious baked goods and coffee. There are baked goods for those who like sweet and non-sweet treats. The owner is also super nice and makes everything herself.

This place was so fun! A fantastic owner served up delicious espresso and delectable, hand-made German pastries. Charming tables gave us a space for great conversation through giant glass views of downtown. Definitely adding this to my regular coffee shops list.

This charming cafe has great coffee and fresh German pastries located in a quiet, convenient part of downtown. I definitely will be returning. This is my new spot!
