New Glarus Bakery

We stopped here on our way home from vacation. Apple bread, Espresso cheesecake and scone were all superb!!! Hats off to the baker! Good thing I don't live close or I'd be eating this way too often. Thanks for the yummy treats on our drive home!

Twice I've arrived at 5:03 pm (from out of town) wanting some fresh bakery items. The ice cream shop hangs open a few extra minutes, and always get a dozen last minute sales. Too bad the bakery doesn't

The lady tending the shop was very nice and told us about the different cookies and cakes and they looked delicious. Unfortunately the cookies were all too soft, almost underbaked, so we ended up not being able to eat them. Maybe next time we'll try the cheesecakes.

What a disappointment. Stale doughnuts and overpriced stale bread. A small town bakery sin is to sell yesterday's fare as fresh. A waste of a $20 bill. Did go two days later to see if better. The doughnuts simply are not fresh. Microwaved for 15 seconds which helped. I know it may not be possible to sell all in one day but mark as day olds and reduce price.

Taking a Drive in Wisconsin requires a stop in New Glarus. Their bakery has the best turnovers and cream horns, unfortunately when we got there they were sold out of cream horns. I love that bakery!

My daughter's 2nd birthday cake was from NGB and we were thrilled with the results! They took us on as a rush order and exceeded our expectations with an amazing cookie monster themed cake. Costumer service was excellent and the cake decorator was beyond compare! We're excited to try all of their tasty treats too!

Delicious treat and drinks with the ingredients conveniently listed on the display (helps people with allergies like me). The only improvement I’d suggest is some space for people to enjoy their treats.

Love this place. I have food allergies & love that they have ingredients listed in the case for all items. Thank you for this. The employee was kind & patient will I made my choices. I've enjoyed my treats & can't wait till I get back to New Glarus for another visit.

Have come here for over 20 years on bike rides from Madison. Look forward to choosing between nut horns, chocolate oat bars, brownies, apple slices, donuts and so much more! Great little town to visit too, with many summer festivals.

They were very friendly and helpful. The cream horns are top notch.
