New Glarus Bakery

This bakery is the best I have been to in a long time. Excellent customer service and so many choices. Each item I tried was absolutely delicious ... everyone in the house loved the pastries and bread.

Always a super friendly staff. Amazing cookies and cheesecake :) definitely a go to for some delicious sweets!

Big selection of different baked goods. Very cute store. Purchased a birthday cake The frosting was great didn't like the chocolate cake. I believe the white cake with strawberry or raspberry filling is the much better choice

I've just had one of the worst experiences in my life while shopping at New Glarus Bakery. One of the servers (Anna J - if the name on the receipt is hers) was very rude and unprofessional - starting with her answer to my "How are you?" question... to the fact that she turned to the other Lady and talked about clients while they're still in the shop. Plus she overcharged me. I got home and I specifically weighted my products and it was nothing close to the weight on the receipt.
Very disappointed. I would've gave them 0 stars if I could.
I'll never shop there again!

Make sure you get something that was baked that day. The items in the refrigerated case have been frozen and then brought back to a refrigerated temperature and are awful!

We worked with New Glarus Bakery for our wedding in August 2018. We were very impressed with the cakes that we received for our wedding day and with the overall service provided. We called the Bakery about six months before our wedding and set up a tasting. This involved picking out 6 cake and filling combinations and picking up the prepared “tasting cake” to try and home. After trying the cake, we selected our favorite flavors and set up a meeting with the Bakery to discuss our order. We met with the owner of the Bakery, Angela, who walked us through all the options for our wedding cake. The meeting was very helpful and allowed us to see all the options in person and ask questions as needed. We ended up selected a two-tiered cake for cutting and several sheet cakes for our guests in a variety of icing flavors.We also decided to have the Bakery deliver the cakes to our reception venue, which was a huge help on our wedding day. There was a small fee for this, but totally worth it to us. On the day of the wedding the cakes were delivered as expected and looked beautiful. The cakes tasted amazing and the variety of flavors was a big hit with the guests. We would gladly recommend the New Glarus Bakery to anyone looking for an amazing cake and fantastic service experience.
