Growing up I had a Caribou in my area that my friends enjoyed going to which shut down years ago. I rediscovered my love when making trips to Minnesota to visit family or other events.
I hoped they would eventually make their way to this area and am so happy one is closer to me than the one in the Festival. While I miss the charm of the interior, the drinks and food we got were just as I remembered. The staff were super friendly and had my mobile order ready for me when I got to the window.
I'm so happy to have this as a choice option to the area. Many food and coffee/drink options to satisfy anyone. Highly recommend.
Been there two times and got order wrong both times. Weren't even busy when I went. Great coffee otherwise. But would recommend putting a sticker on coffee cups so you know what drink is what and should also put the whip topping and toppings on iced coffee not just blended drinks.
I give this place 3 stars because the man at the window was so friendly and helpful. I didn't like the coffee, it was bitter and it was not hot. I don't know what has happened in the coffee world but no one sells hot coffee anymore? The most ridiculous thing is they put a wrapper around the cup to protect your hands from the heat only there is no heat?
I was disappointed that the large cup was maybe 16 oz but it was not full and they did not have cream, only 2% milk. What's up with that? I expect a high end coffee place to have cream. Is that unreasonable? I ordered a sugar free caramel cappuccino. I could not taste any caramel at all and the coffee was really bitter. It did not taste like good quality coffee. Maybe if it were served hot I would have liked it more?
I also tried a raspberry scone and a lemon poppy seed bread slice. The lemon poppy seed bread looks good but I have not tried it. The scone was probably one of the worst scones I've ever tasted. After 3 bites I threw it away. It has some sort of fake raspberry bits that might be like a candy, I'm not sure they were sort of dissolved in the cake. The scone was not baked long enough, it was very dense as it should be but it was more like a heavy cake than a scone. I am sure it did not have any butter in it. The bottom was browned like you normally see on a scone. All of this cost over $14.00! I don't mind paying more for high quality ingredients but none of what I tasted seemed like high quality.
I am sorry to say even though the service was super friendly I will not be going to back to this establishment. Not for warm coffee and icky scones.
One more thing I found annoying, the payment system. I used my car and instead of taking my card and running it through a machine they stick this long plastic handle out the window for me to do the work then they want a tip for this? The sun was shining on the screen of the device so I couldn't read it at all. It was very inconvenient. If you want a tip serve me some HOT coffee and you run the card through the machine instead of making me do it. I think people have forgotten that tips are for service rendered. Lukewarm coffee and an icky scone is not good service and not worthy of a tip. I regret that I left a tip. It was a total waste of money.
I’ve been coming to this location religiously and have not had a bad experience! Staff is very friendly, makes the drinks perfectly and are so quick! I’ve never waited longer than 2 mins behind another vehicle. Caribou’s app is easy to use and makes the checkout process really smooth and allows you to earn rewards. I’ll keep coming because the coffee and staff are stellar!
Love the coffee and the service is excellent. The only thing is the drive thru, someone really didn't think it thru that it is so narrow and high sides and then approaching the window you are at an angle so that I think is the reason for the cc machine on a stick. I really hope the other store isn't set up the same way.
The staff is always friendly and willing to go out of there way to help. Food and coffee is fantastic! Wait time is what's expected for a drive through coffee joint. Big fan and definitely recommend 👍

I feel like you can sell decent coffee without the drive thru taking multiple opportunities to tell people they're going to die soon
