Barriques - Fitchburg

Came for Sunday morning cars and coffee. Stayed for the good coffee and good conversation.... Also the cars. I stayed for the cars.

10/10 super nice staff! Hot chocolate was very tasty! Also stop on a Sunday morning for 8-11am to see some shiny cars!

Over priced sandwiches. I ordered the wisconsin dip and the cheese was barely melted. The bread was very dry with little or nothing to it. I ordered it with the side of greens and they were warm and soggy! The soup that came with it seemed like it was straight outve a can or bag! Fine they screw up once so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and so I went in just last week and ordered a hooks melt, the sand which tasted a little off. 12 hours later I had severe diarrhea! I believe the beef was most likely expired, or something definitely was. This place seems very sketchy! Proceed with caution and ask about the food! 11 dollars for a salmon salad with frozen salmon? Yuck!

Do not recommend and will not come here again. Why eat here when thai noodle is right next door?

Little things like coffee station not maintained and please spend a dollar or two and get some lounge chairs by the fireplace that aren’t completely broken and unsuitable. How about a couple end tables in between so you don’t have to set your drink on the floor. Just go to Collectivo and see how it’s done right.

Great Barriques location. Staff are friendly; drinks and food almost always spot on. I'm enjoying the new menu, especially the Capitol Breakfast Sandwich.

Maple scone is sooo delicious. Their menu there has healthy good food. Great coffee of course. Friendly, efficient staff.

I know customers think that they know what is going on and that this is a friendly environment but truthfully it's not. I have worked here I was a staff here and they were and are probably still serving expired foods to people. The meats are normally poorly packaged by our kitchen staff. I suffer from a mental illness and depression and was fired because I got sick from it. Not to mention that I unknowingly served countless customers expired food makes me sick to my stomach. It should be known that this place is not everything it is said to be. My experience here may be different from everyone else. But all in good measure to protect Fitchburg's people I would advise you go look at how filthy the kitchen is before ordering your food.

Three coworkers and I went here for lunch just the other week.And I cannot describe how dismayed I was with the overall experience at Barriques. The line was at a decent length and after a solid 8-10 minutes we got to the cashier to order. I ordered the house salad and my other two colleagues ordered the soup of the day and the huevos wrap. My colleague explained that the huevos wrap was very good; however when it was served to her; the corn in the wrap had a distinct brown rotten tinge. My other colleague obtained her veggie chili and it seemed as though it was very dehydrated, dead and tasteless. The side of bread she requested with the soup had a spot of mold. Last but not least, while my house salad looked okay,upon further inspection I noted that my goat cheese had a crusty layer to it; and my greens were dark green and mushy to the touch with the cranberry sauce being very overpowering. The pistachios had no bite whatsoever and felt as though they had been left out too long. Most likely stale. While they offered cafe drinks, we ended up obtaining drinks from the fridge. At least they didn't screw those up? Won't come back here again I'm afraid. We'll stick to Panera.

Food is very good, but the espresso has tasted sour (like the machine isn't being cleaned regularly/properly) whenever I've gotten it. The other drinks are good though.

Tried to use a barriques gift card to buy a bag of beans. Cashier says he can’t ring me up bc my gift card is old and they have a new system but to try again in two days. Why are you selling people gift cards to you store that you cant accept?
