Definitely the best cold brew I've ever had. The barista who I spoke to said that she makes it herself. The cold brew was perfectly balanced and brought out the fruity notes of the coffee. I'm usually one to put just a tiny splash of milk in my coffee, but I felt no need to modify this amazing flavor. Definitely someplace to stop by if you're looking for good cold brew!

How has anyone written a negative review about this place? The coffee is forking awesome. The staff is cool. The smell is amazing. It's small and perfect. Mocha is my #1 drink here, and I don't even like normal mochas at most places (typically I go for a white mocha).

We tried many espresso shops in Tacoma and Olympia until we found Valhalla. Their beans are always fresh and delicious, and their espresso is never bitter or burnt. I roast my own coffee at home but occasionally take a break from roasting. Always I buy a pound of beans from Valhalla during such breaks. A. J. even gave me a small batch of green coffee once to roast at home. Valhalla is by far my favorite roaster.

THE BEST coffee I’ve EVER had. The flavor is impeccable and leaves the most devious aftertaste on your tastebuds. Their coffee tastes how coffee smells and that is hard to accomplish. Forever the highest quality coffee in WA. Wish they had a bigger space for in-cafe chillin but it’s rona anyway so who cares!

All the baristas are amazing I’ve never had a bad cup of coffee here , the pounds of coffee to take home are reasonably priced and worth taking some home to have for your self !

I always tell people that this is the best coffee I have ever had in my life and I miss having easy access to it every day. When I lived within walking distance, this is the only place I would get my coffee beans, and I loved to treat myself to an americano whenever I was in there. The employees were always wonderful and ready to answer any questions, and I loved talking about the roasting process with the owner a few times. There really isn't much room for sitting inside (although it's been a few years since I was there), but I always drank my coffee as I walked home.

Gross political signs in front. Customers fanatically obsessive about masks and social distancing. Overall a politically repugnant place for me. However. I came for the coffee. And it was good.

Amazing! Visiting son in Tacoma last year and he told us we HAD to try your coffee because it’s the best! So right! We live in Pennsylvania and love local coffee shops wherever we go, however we now have Valhalla shipped to our home and also share it with others!
