This place is exceptionally popular in Tacoma, unfortunately the espresso is not properly poured, giving it an extremely bitter, burnt overly acidic. If you go here, go for the drip, the cozy atmosphere, the good people. But do not buy the espresso.

By far the best espresso ive experienced, very smooth and luxourious in aroma. Atmosphere is a grab-n-go joint with some moderate seating. They only serve espresso (no munchies), really friendly. highly recommend this place.

The guys over there were friendly and awesome. But I want to emphasize more on the coffee. I had a vanilla latte and I really didn't like it. I could not feel the coffee taste. Probably it was made in wrong proportions. Not an ideal place for coffee lovers!!

I already drank multiple shots of espresso to pick out roasts I wanted to bring back home, so I was already too caffeinated to drink any more. I still wanted to buy a few more bags of beans to bring back home here but each roast had no descriptions to go along with them and the staff only recommended one particular roast for me, even though I expressed that I wanted to purchase multiple bags. I ended up buying only one.

The baristas were very friendly and answered all my coffee questions with a smile. The coffee itself was the best espresso I've had in some time, full bodied with a great crema. I will be re-visiting!

First visit today, the girl who took my order (Stasia) was fantastic, she was able to help me figure out what would be a drink that I could enjoy... She was spot on.. the home roasted flavor was great... Definitely going back...

Amazing roast! best coffee I have found in Tacoma. Friendly service and a hip vibe. Not the fastest cup of coffee... but perfection takes some time.

Great spot with a knowledgable staff. I got a cup of the Ethiopia Sidamo, fairly light body and clear bright floral notes (pour over). Delicious, friendly staff, great specialty coffee without the pretentious edge.

The customers were very friendly, but the batista that helped me had a snooty attitude. I was definitely overcharged for my cold watered down pour over. I asked for a tall drip with a splash of soy which cost 3.75. What! It took forever because apparently they don't serve regular drip they do pour overs. I'm sure I could have gotten an Americano for cheaper with way more flavor in less time. Not a good experience today.

Cappuccino was pretty good (nice foam art but not enough microfoam in the rest of the drink). The physical space is very uncomfortable to be in for more than 5 minutes, but they have the best beans in Tacoma.
