When I entered Valhalla coffee co, my olfactory glands were assaulted with an outpour of scent only matched by the smell of fresh truffles in northern Spain in spring. Such a wonderous odor permeated my whole being and left me feeling breathless, as If I was on the verge of achieving all of my agrestal fantasies. Valhalla's cup of coffee will return you to a state of interbeing and appreciation. There was na'er a better establishment to enjoy a cup of joe.

The coffee is SUPERB, some of the best I’ve ever had. But just know, it’s not a place you can pop in and grab a quick latte on your way back to the office. It’s a 15 minute wait minimum even just for one drink. So best to come on a day when you’re feeling leisurely.

Best coffee in the South Sound. Period. The staff is always incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. I go so much these days they tend to remember my drink before I even order it. The way it should be. It's very small on the inside and does tend to get busy at times. Wait times are never usually a problem. Service is very quick.

Latte was perfect and customer service was amazing. Even got a little sample of beans to try at home. Thank you.

The coffee was great, the prices were excellent, but the people working the counter (I'm assuming the owners) didnt make us feel welcome because we weren't regulars. Blew us off when we told him we heard great things about their coffee, and mocked our orders. May give it another chance, but I can get better customer service at Starbucks

Had as appointment in Tacoma and figured I’d look for some coffee while I was down there. I found this little spot and it did not disappoint! It seemed like they had many regulars in there and I can see why. Good service, great coffee and I like that they had a good variety of sugar free flavors! Thanks!

We were told this was the best coffee in the area. I really enjoyed my cortado! Only wish I could’ve ordered inside rather than from the window

This has been one of our longtime favorite coffee shops. Come with patience especially on the weekend but it is more than worth the wait and one of Tacoma’s best.
