Lovely spot with nice ambiance. The lavender latte was really nice and not overpowering. The breakfast bun is excellent, with tender egg, a soft seed bun, and good topping options. Was disappointed by the "salmon mousse" because it wasn't mousse, and was Scandinavian style salmon salad instead. Overall will go again happily, but will probably ask for more info before ordering anything fancy.

More money in decorations than friendly staff or coffee. Go somewhere authentic, this bougie storefront is just that.

I live in Portland, OR but visit my family in Ballard frequently. I’m really particular about well-made cappuccinos - which are really hard to find even in the relatively savvy PNW.

I’ve tried at least half a dozen coffee shops in this immediate neighborhood and am never that happy with the drinks I get.

This place gave me the best cappuccino I’ve had in months. Super friendly service. Long line when I pulled up, but I was waiting in that line less than 5 minutes. Had my perfect drink in my hands a couple minutes later.

Highest marks in all aspects of how I judge a coffee shop. So glad I finally found a local spot that impresses. <3

Wow love this place. Awesome large work spaces, clean, tasty coffee and breakfast.

Very nice atmosphere and service. The bagles are very good, I really like the "Chi Chai" and absolutely love their cold brew coffee. Delicious!!!

Best vanilla latte in Ballard! For sure coming back here. They make their own syrups which is a huge plus. Fun flavors too!

Honestly, I tried to be nice because I liked the cardamom latte I had there once upon a time but I can never see myself giving business to this establishment again. It just goes against my morals. Whoever is in charge of this absolute dump should be ashamed of themselves for the disrespectful way they treat their baristas in the open and in private. It's one thing for a working environment to be uncomfortable and anxiety-inducing, but it's another thing entirely to see a manager belittle and degrade the very people working to keep the place in business. Unacceptable.

Best chai I've had in a seriously long time. Cappuccino was flawless.

nice place, the atmosphere is calm and the coffee is good. the mocha I had had a little more chocolate than coffee, but I'm not complaining 😉

Tipped 25% at the register on the pricy (IIRC $16) salmon toast option, 20 mins later they still have not made it. I ask, they say it is on the way (no acknowledgement of them forgetting about it) and make it quickly in front of me. Food itself was mid.
