Well I'm not a big seafood fan, this was a mom's night out location and I was excited to try someplace new! I ordered the smoked salmon Caesar salad. The prices were Fair, the portions were large, and the atmosphere was lovely! I really enjoyed the decor, the closeness to the water, the service, and the food. I will definitely be back with friends and family in tow that enjoy the Finer Things in life!
Great food! The shrimp toast was delicious! We also got the steak salad and the Hot Nashville Chicken Sandwich and both were phenomenal! Our waitress Margaret was super sweet and helpful! We’ll be back!
First time at Row and certainly not the last! A warm, welcoming haven on a dark, wet, and dreary evening. We love the location overlooking the harbor, the huge windows, and the personable, knowledgeable, and proficient staff. My husband and I had their fish and chips and were delighted by the crisp, non-greasy coating and the delicate sumptuous fish. Great chips with fresh herbs and garlic were the perfect accompaniment. We split an ice cream sandwich for dessert - delicious and decadent!
Went for dinner on a Monday night. Place was about 1/3rd full but wasn't loud or noisy at all. Cool location with big windows looking out at downtown Olympia. Steak salad is great and they use a new York cut for the beef. Lots of good vegetarian options. If you like high quality coffee, the decaf is a great flavor with dinner. Fish and chips is great fish but the batter is thicker than what you might find elsewhere. Lots of walking room so wheelchairs would have no problem. Very friendly staff!
I like this place a lot for a quick lunch. I’ve made a couple pit stops here now — love the location, the atmosphere and appreciate the staffs friendliness. I think the food is pretty good for the area.
One criticism though - the chowder is really a thin, corn soup. Compared to all the excellent chowders in the PNW, this one’s just not top tier.
Overall it’s good and easy place to bring visitors new experiencing coastal PNW life.
Row !!! is a fun and buzzing location. Great hand battered cod ($17) and drinks! Raymond provided great service! Strongly recommend. Will visit here again!
Row restaurant in Olympia is a really cool waterfront restaurant near the boardwalk, with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu features delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients, and the service is excellent. Highly recommended.
I would love to rate this place 5 stars, if I wrote this review about a month ago I definitely would. HOWEVER, there had been a new staff member who is incredibly rude. She is the opposite of warm and welcoming, she makes us being here feel like a chore. My boyfriend has a service dog who had accompanied us into this restaurant the last 20+ times we have been here. We have been regulars for at least 3 months but not anymore. This new staff member thinks that it is appropriate to come bark orders at us like we are here to serve her. Her request to have the service pup lie down out of a walking area is reasonable (and happily accommodated), however the delivery is just appalling. I have never been to a restaurant as a paying customer and been made to felt like my mom or teacher is mad at me, this has happened the last 2 nights we have come. Like I said earlier, we have been regulars for MONTHS. Now I don’t know if I want to come back, all because of her. So Row, maybe pick your staff members a little better. The blonde older lady should get some much needed customer service training if she continues to be employed at your establishment. All of your other staff is just splendid, you just really missed the mark with her.

Food was good. Staff was out of this world. Cayle was so sweet. If you are lucky enough to be served by her, give her a huge tip!
