Just ate there today. The cashier was really nice and I've seen her many times before, her service is excellent. But that's where the good news stops. They took an hour to bring out our food, and I also ordered a to go order which they got wrong and I didn't check it before leaving. I packed everything up because I had to make it to work (I didn't think it would take so long to be given food) and headed home. When I checked the to go order, they forgot the biscuit that was supposed to come with it. They also made it with bacon instead of sausage, after I had asked for sausage.... To top it off the server was incredibly unprofessional. There was no apology for the wait time, just like we were expected to expect this. I used to love coming here but it seems lately the food, and service has become terrible. You're better off going to black bear or some other breakfast spot.

Everybody got their coupon but me why? Plus it takes almost 1 hour to have my food on the table..
I think chicken didn't lay their egg on time.

My girlfriend and I come here all the time. For over a year and half, this has been our go-to and favorite place for breakfast on the weekends! Their dinner is good too! The prices are great, the people friendly, and the coffee - of course great! The waits can sometimes be long though, so if you know what you like, it helps to call in at busy times!

Sitting down here for my very first visit I have to say I am impressed. My ice blended coffee drink is extremely tasty and made exactly as I requested. My BLT sandwich was made fairly fast and tasted really good. The staff was super friendly as well, I highly recommend you try this place out.

Thanks for not updating your hours on google! Just drove from Burien to find out that you're closed.

Visited this place today for the first time. I had the biscuits and gravy and a waffle. My husband had the poverty bay breakfast hash. Both entrees were really good! However the waffle really let me down. For me it tasted like a pre made mix and not a homemade waffle. I was expecting something else! The syrup probably wasn't real maple syrup but only the fake corn syrup with maple flavor. It didn't match the rest of our order and with one waffle being 5 dollars it was not worth it.
The gravy was well seasoned and thick. The biscuit was fluffy and buttery!
My husband said no word and ate quick and that means it was good :)

Good food and coffee, but the service is the worst.
48 minute wait for a sandwich and they were not even that busy!!

I have been here about 4 times now, and can report that the food is good, the coffee is good, but oh my goodness be prepared to WAIT WAIT WAIT. Just had breakfast there this Sunday morning about 10:30 and the average time for breakfast to be prepared and served to your table is 30 minutes. And it wasn't just my breakfast, it was the other tables as well. I was watching and timing. I have experienced this before so I make sure I am not in a hurry if I want to go there. Also if you order a latte it is likely to be made and then sit on the counter forever getting cold because you won't hear them call you or say in a loud enough voice to hear that it is ready. This happened to me my first visit and I saw it happen today to a guy at the table next to me. Now I just order regular coffee and they serve it to you right away (no refills though!). Also I have now ordered bacon and eggs twice and both times they forgot the bacon. The first time I thought maybe I hadn't said it, but twice in a row? I don't think so. Of course they tried to tell me I didn't order it, but I insisted that I had ordered it because I knew I did, because the last time they forgot it today I MADE SURE I ordered the bacon and repeated it twice just to make sure. I also heard the gal taking the order repeat "bacon" aloud and key it into the register. So they did bring me the bacon eventually. Good food but poorly run and managed and very slow service..

If you're looking for a quaint, "no frills", environment... this is it! Found snugly nestled between 2 other shops, one can easily miss it... but for those who like finding new spots, inside is a large selection coffee shop, with breakfast and lunch menus. Orders are placed at the counter, you are given a number teepee, and please seat yourself! There are two seating areas. To the left is what seems a younger crowd, with laptops and notebooks. To the right is an older crowd, more prone to chatting... without technology 😉 the food was good, service prompt, and restrooms were clean. Personally, not my every day go-to, but well worth an occasional return visit!

The food was edible. The toast was burnt, the pancakes tasted burnt, the biscuits tasted burnt, and the gravy tasted like things were added to make the batch last longer. The worst part was the hour plus wait time between when we ordered and when we actually got our food. With a hungry 2 year old, the wait was terrible. I have never had to wait that long for an order. I'm not sure if we went in on an off day, I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but we won't be going back.
