I feel this place would go a lot smoother if they had servers. I’m not going to tip anyone where I have to stand in line and find my own chair, plus order my food and pick it up. Place needs to be remodeled. To wait for your to go order 35 to 40 mins is ridiculous. Service is extremely slow. Half the order came out and then was told the other half would be out in 20 mins. So guess half would be cold and the other half warm? Took order 1 hour and 5 mins from time I was told 35 to 40 mins. Food wasn’t that great.
Is a hole in the wall place, which I’m love these places. I started to say the staff was friendly but now I would have to say half are the other half is short with you. So guess it would be hit and missed.
I would like to point out that Sierra was the most polite and kindness of anyone there. She get one STAR alone or my review would have been no stars if I could. Others felt like you were inconvenient them and putting them out. Sorry I was there paying for service. I won’t be back as my time is worth so much more. I’d rather to go to Safeway and buy something from the bakery or their deli.
Ordered a muffin while I waited and every bite I would take it would just crumble apart.
Top it off the order was wrong when I got home. To go orders always seem to go to the front at any restaurant as anyone knows the customers already in aren’t going anywhere.
Extremely slow service!!!! When I got home with food, I found it all burnt. Pictures say a thousand words.

Delicious food, reasonable wait times, comfortable seating, and the prices... are covid prices, but thats everywhere. I highly recommend this place.

Only giving 4 stars because it took a long time to order. They take food orders at the only cash register not at the tables. Otherwise I really recommend this place, delicious food, felt home made not "typical diner food". The coffee was spectacular! Very friendly staff.

Overpriced for what you get. Not really impressed. Counter people are really nice, but I've eaten at places for the same price that had much bigger portions and more memorable tastes. I'm not mad, just my experience.

My girlfriend had been talking this place up all week, so naturally I was excited to try it because she’s really good at picking out delicious breakfast spots.
Upon arrival we were greeted with smiles from a friendly hostess and seated promptly. The waiter/waitress took our drink order and said they would return to proceed with our food order. After a few minutes there were 3 other parties that arrived. It seemed that our server had forgot about us because they helped the other parties, checked on other tables and never returned to us to get our order. We ended up leaving without eating.
Long story short the place is cute, and they have a decently priced menu with a few good breakfast/lunch options, but the staff is young and not that experienced. Nicole was our server. Buyer beware.

Good atmosphere, great service, tasty food. But the most greatest is COFFEE!

Food was not good at all. My food looked like vomit. It had a taste like it had been cooked in old oil.

Their hash breakfast plate is amazing. Everything is scratch made to order and their coffee is great too.

Very pleasantly surprised by this spot. The Eggs Benedict is among some of the best I've had. The coffee is really good. Lots of flavor options. Staff is very friendly, service was very quick, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. Will definitely be returning here

I was recently hired here and was SO EXCITED! Literally my dream job. I finally had landed a job I would be in love with and no matter the day, I'd go home, wake up the next day with a smile on my face and a warm heart.
ONLY, I was then informed the night prior to my first day, from the man whom I had my hour interview with, that be himself had just QUIT and that I was no longer welcomed to be apart of the crew at Poverty Bay Cafe/ Fusion.
Literally really did break my heart to be honest. Crushed me. I don't know really what went down.
After personally meeting all my new co-workers I finally had a feeling that for the first time in a long time I was going to be able to be apart of something GREAT. Something I had been looking and praying for, for a very long time...
RANT OVER.
GREAT FOOD AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. CHECK IT OUT!
