Staff is really friendly, pastries are ok, and they make decent coffee drinks, but the food is not good. It is expensive. Hash breakfasts are small, dry, and lacking in flavor. Breads are super dense and dry.

Just happened upon this cute little gem and wished I had brought a bigger appetite! We got lunch, but I wish I could have sampled their delightful breakfast menu also. The tuna melt, tamale pie, and bumble berry hand pie were all so delicious. And the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Nice little place in a nice quiet town. They use actual coffee mugs and metal spoons instead of plastic. I'm not worried about the use of plastics, it's just a nice comfortable feeling to have coffee with real dishware. The bakery products looked great! We tried a couple of items, I'm not sure if they were gluten free but they had the consistency of that kind of product, they were ok but next time I'll try something different. I really liked the layout and feel of the place. If I were to own a bakery in a small town, this is what I would like to have.

Suddenly I am glad I can eat gluten, lol. We stopped here not realizing it was a gluten-free bakery. Had we known, honestly, we probably wouldn't have stopped. I never had gluten-free before, so that should be taken in consideration for this review. As far as gluten-free goes, this bakery is probably delicious. As far as apple fritters go (what I ordered), I was profoundly disappointed. Like I said, I miss my gluten. My fritter was like a big pancake, and but nearly enough apple. And $4 to boot! I hope you like surprises because the prices for the items in the display cases aren't shown. Unless you get a chance to ask, you won't know what you are paying until the cashier rings you up. A bit overpriced and not what I would expect for Concrete. The place does have a great atmosphere though.

This fantastic bakery in the quiet town of concrete served up some lovely baked goods and some nice coffee. Their goods are so fresh and not overly sweet which is perfect! The owner of the place was kind and personable. We went there two days in a row during our stay in concrete. The decor is really cute too!

Good breakfast. Drinks and pastries were okay

Disappointing breakfast. Maybe they were just having an off day. I ordered pigs in a blanket. The pancakes were cold and rubbery and so hard on the edges that I couldn’t cut through them—they were inedible. It was obvious they had been microwaved. My partner said his meal was lukewarm as well. When I let them know about my meal, I got an apology but no offer to make it right. Proper customer service would have avoided this one-star review. Having a bad moment in the kitchen is okay, but not offering to make it right is just not good business.

A delightful pastry from a upstanding business. Just passing through to visit Baker lake area and over the mountains. Interesting decor inside this cafe. Staff member is knowledgeable of the menu. Got a mocha and some pastries to go. Honey bun is awesome. Cinnamon and nuttiness is great. Got one more for the road. Nice touch Concrete on my places for foodie stop.

I wish I lived in Concrete so I could go here every morning for breakfast! I'm gluten free and the baked goods here are some of the best I've had anywhere, gluten free or not. The smoked salmon quiche is unbelievable-- and I usually hate quiche haha. The staff are friendly and down-to-earth, the atmosphere is great. Every time I drive through town this is my main stop believe me. Now why can't there be one closer to where I live? :-(

Cutest place. Very well done. The colors, ambience, and food pairs perfectly for a foggy morning with their great Carmel Macchiato cup of coffee!

We split the “I Want It All” so we had room for a cinnamon roll and Pecan Crumble muffin!

Thanks 5B for a great start to the day!!
