The food and coffee are great, but to be very transparent they are not dog friendly. I have tried to go twice now with a small dog that I can literally hold and each time they have told me that dogs are only allowed in the back (which is fine), but that I have to order inside. So if I wish to order food or drinks from them I have to tie my dogs up outside by themselves to order food which takes all of two seconds. So if you’re like me and you like to do things with just you and your dogs this is not the place to do it.

The quality of the food has been going down hill for a couple years now. I also saw the owner ban a mother and a toddler for playing with a plastic lantern. I guess this is not a place for kids. Not very professional behavior.

Very tasty iced coffee! This place is in an old historic building! They had a good selection of coffee and tea to buy to make at home. The workers were also very friendly!

Wonderful place to sit and unwind after Riverwalk and beach trip. Delicious food friendly staff. Added value for a Yorktown visit.

Nice place. Good coffee and good food. It’s in an old house built in the 1700s. It’s a cool place. But be careful. We ended up paying $70+ for a simple lunch with four sandwiches with chips and pickles. They just casually asked if we wanted chips/pickles with our sandwiches and we said yes without thinking. We assumed at $12 for a sandwich, sides were included. Wrong! Didn’t realized they charged them all separately and we were even charged for 4 small cups of tap water!?! So that’s ~$18 just for 4 chips, 4 pickles and tap water. Our fault for not knowing but talk about a major sticker shock. 😂😕😩😁

Mobjack Roasters has become my absolute favorite spot to go!
If anyone ever comes to visit this is a MUST!!!! It truly is a uniquely historical place to grab breakfast and lunch! They have the most amazing golden-brown apple turnovers. You can sit outside at the picnic tables that have colonial lanterns, next to an old historical cemetery or you can go up some creaky old steps inside and enjoy the historical dining room! It was a home that was built in the 1730's I believe but don't quote me on that. They recently restored it to it's original state.
Do it, Do it, Do it!!!!!!!!

Stopped by while touring the area. Bought coffee and pastry and took upstairs to a charming little room. The staff were very accommodating. We were too early for lunch but the menu looked wonderful. Give it a try!

Nice place to stop while walking around Yorktown. They have good coffee and various other drinks to help cool you off. There is a nice place to sit down and take in the history.
Along with coffee there is a nice selection of pastries.
