Just moved to the local area and was looking for a coffee roaster, so I can have fresh beans every week. Mobjack's coffee is fantastic and the people are great as well. Their Columbian has been my go to so far. The atmosphere and food as well are a great plus for the shop as a cafe. They are still offering service right now and the Yorktown area is great to visit while social distancing.

A cute spot - we stopped for drinks (and a blueberry scone bc who could turn one of those down?) before heading to the battlefield. We enjoyed the coffee & chai latte. Wished that the atmosphere was a little more friendly. Prices are fair. We would return when in the area.

The location is superb. The food is tasty and the staff is friendly and attentive. The service is slow.

Great selection of tea and their own roasted coffees. Also serve beer from some of the local breweries. Didn't get a chance to eat anything but if it's anything like their coffee then it will be great! A perfect place to stop after a bike ride for local brews!

For several months I lived in Williamsburg, and while I was there a friend of mine took to me to visit the Mobjack Bay coffee shop in Yorktown and after that one visit he and I went back several times for coffee (which is roasted right on-site), a scone or muffin (baked right on-site), the atmosphere of the coffee shop and wonderful Yorktown. And, several times I ventured back by myself for coffee and a scone or a muffin. Yorktown itself is extremely peaceful and imparts a wonderful feeling of being there during colonial times, and the coffee shop has the same feeling. Mobjack Bay is in what was once a home during the colonial period and has a quaintness that is hard to describe. I hope that if you are in Yorktown, or Williamsburg or Jamestown you will visit the Mobjack Bay coffee shop for a cup of coffee and maybe a scone, muffin or another of the on-site baked goods offered there and enjoy the atmosphere of peace and colonial times.

Stopped in after the parade this morning just to see what had changed since the Carrot Tree left. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I was not expecting much. But then I saw how fun the upstairs dining area was and thought about trying a hot chocolate. I would prefer it to be more like thick drinking chocolate, which is why it's not a 5-star review. But what a cool family. All of them working together, it was just so cool to see, and what precious children! I hope the business grows and the hot chocolate thickens enough to stick to my teeth next time.

This place is fantastic and a must visit for any coffee lover. I couldn’t believe how good the coffee was at Mobjack. The coffee being roasted on-site truly makes a difference. Grab a cup and then go for a ride on the colonial parkway to Williamsburg while the leaves are changing.

Im not a coffee drinker. We went in for the small jazz ensemble that was playing. I had a remarkable cup of Earl Grey tea and a fabulous turkey sandwich served with kettle chips and a pickle juat before the fireworks on the 4th. It is a nice place with a quaint atmosphere and it smells great with the coffee roasting.
