Such a fun place to grab a coffee/tea, pastry, or lunch while visiting Yorktown! The iced coffee was delicious; in fact so good we bought a bag of beans to take home! We enjoyed the club sandwich panini and the Mobjack Caprese Sandwich. Both had generous amounts of the listed ingredients and were served freshly made. We bought several kinds of pastries too and loved them all! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items and the service was timely. They even gave us directions to a wonderful gift store that only sells works from local artists! We loved the atmosphere of the 1600s house and had the added pleasure of talking with a local who lives around the corner. Check out their selection of wines and teas too! We plan to return to Yorktown again and will definitely make this a go-to favorite!

As I see other reviews have written, the boss or “owner” Celeste is extremely rude and lacks key customer service skills.
Arrived here with a group of friends visiting Yorktown for a bachelorette party. Was looking forward to trying this place out until it was ruined.
We ordered our food and coffee and were guided to sit and wait with seating upstairs. It was a small room with long tables each having only 2 chairs at each. Since we had a group of 6, we decide to slide 2 tables that were only around 1 foot apart together to accommodate better. Behind us sat a table of young kids and toddlers running around in the middle of the room at a table with at least 5+ chairs at it.
The owner, Celeste, comes upstairs shouting at us “Did you not read the sign? You cannot push the tables together, YOU ARE RUINING THE EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE ELSE. Move it all back now!”
We say we did not see the signs and comply, moving everything back very carefully, as she shouts “WATCH THE FLOORS.”
The sign she was referring to? A small piece of paper at the BOTTOM of the steps in tiny writing saying “Please do not move the tables.”
While the sign was in a horrible place, we understood when she said we could not move them. We moved everything back and headed outside. On the way out she starts saying it’s because of the floors, which like I said, we understood.
However, the biggest issue was her terrible cold, rude, attitude. Before leaving we addressed these issues with her and how that is not how you should conduct yourself as a business owner. Her response? “Well did it not occur to you the tables shouldn’t be moved?”
With your tiny sign at the bottom of the steps, not to mention multiple employees walking up there and not saying a word to us about it made us unaware.
We were apologetic about the tables, but this owner needs a wake up call or maybe this place just needs new management overall. Coffee was good, Chicken Pesto Panini was extremely soggy and had no actual pesto.
Cute building, but if you are worried about your floors maybe a coffee shop/ restaurant was not the best idea for this place.
The younger kids serving did a fantastic job, it’s terrible they put up with this woman.
Fix your attitude Celeste.

Wonderful small business with excellent food located in an old 18th century farmhouse in the center of historic Yorktown. It did not hurt that it was a spectacular November day to visit but the staff was excellent and cheerful. The kids loved the little chocolate bombolinis deserts and Harney tea is served (best tea around). We will be back!

Very cute cafe in a historical home with the friendliest and most helpful staff. Their coffee is top notch and one of the best in the area! They also offer a few beers on tap from Capstan Brewery in Hampton. The sandwiches are a must try, especially the grilled cheese and Chicken Pesto! Large selection of baked goods, freshly roasted take home coffee, and fine teas. They have a wonderful large outdoor backyard seating area and a cozy upstairs lounge as well. Highly recommend a visit!

A great local shop I found while on orders at CG Training Center Yorktown. Now that I'm back home in Florida, I'm still having their coffee beans delivered.
My last shipment was damaged in the mail, so damaged I received an empty box. I can only assume a discerning postal employee caught a waft of the aroma and had to sample Mobjack's wares.
No worries though, after one email to Mobjack, they sent me a new shipment and this one arrived intact.
I can't thank them enough for the excellent customer service.

A Coffee shop in historical building. The shop has a nice outdoor seating area and second floor. Good coffee.

This was one of our favorite spots in the "colonial triangle." We stopped for lunch after seeing the Google reviews, and it was the perfect Spring outing. The food was tasty (I had the Reuben, my wife had a wrap) and the lemonade was delicious, but the real highlight here is the outdoor space.

They have a beautiful and well-maintained yard with picnic tables under a shady tree, right next to this picturesque historic house. The kids loved it. Plenty of room to explore and run around.

We enjoyed our lunch with the smell of roasting coffee beans wafting out of the chimney. Just an awesome way to spend an afternoon on vacation. Top marks!!

Very cute building. Eat-in, eat outside in the shade under the trees, or order to-go. I usually like my iced coffee with a lot of milk, they used much less than I would prefer and I'm so glad they did. This coffee is smooth, not bitter. Such a nice flavor. They did have the option of almond milk, which is appreciated.

For lunch I had the grain bowl. Everything was fresh, nice blend of colors and textures, and was delicious. They had vegan and gluten-free options. Took home scones for later. They had a slight grit taste, like cornmeal, so these were different texture than what I'm used to. Tasted great, and they offered 3 flavors.

Hope to return soon to try other meal options. Looking forward to my next cup of coffee.

This is a beautiful little shop in a history-rich building that serves fresh coffees, cold brews, teas both hot and iced. They now serve pastries, sandwiches, fine beers and wines and more. I highly recommend getting a bag of their in-house roasted coffee.

Plus, they offer an amazing tea service! It's pricey, but you get a wonderful selection of sandwiches, tea, scones and desserts.

The coffee smelled so good! Considering it was really busy we were waited on very quickly. They have a large area outside where you can enjoy your drink or sandwich on picnic tables. Go there and select one of their many coffees and get it custom ground. I will definitely be returning.
