Offerings are sparse (overall and in comparison to other coffee shops in town), if that is what you're looking for at the moment. But, the coffee is good and available with one quick, pre-brewed variety or a selection of more time-involved pour overs. Some espresso drinks are on the menu, but I haven't tried them yet. Food is limited to a few scrumptious-looking pastries (at least for now).
One of the more remote coffee options from the main drag, but that also means it's quieter and easier to find seating for work or relaxation. And, *there's ample parking*. I hope the location doesn't translate to slow business, for theirs and our sakes. They've got a good thing going, can't wait to see how they develop.

Excellent coffee, baked goods, and atmosphere! We stopped on our drive south and it was worth a little extra distance off I81. We'll be back!

I was so happy to discover a local roastery just around the corner from where I live!
Fantastic and super sweet staff (shout out to Katy!) and I love the industrial yet somehow cozy interior ((love that wall mural)). Keane and Brandon have been so nice to me; during the COVID-19 shutdown, I began their coffee subscription (um, FREE DELIVERY FOR LOCALS) and not only is there a 10% discount if you sign up, but their service has been more than accommodating. *I* misunderstood the initial delivery times and when I inquired, not only did they sincerely apologize (I was the dummy), they offered me a complimentary bag of coffee. I tried to refuse, as it wasn't my intention to get free stuff, but they included it anyway in my delivery AND threw in an awesome tote bag and some super cool stickers. Way too nice!
On top of that, the coffee is thoughtfully roasted and tasty. I get the Mountain Music blend, as I prefer a medium roast, but their single origins are amazing as well.

Wonderful coffee. Pleasant hangout spot. Great pastries from next-door. Honestly everything you could want.

The best coffee shop I have come across in my time. I have began to notice when a cafe is doing it right and has what is GREAT vs. what is mediocre. I hope more come and bring their attention and attendance to this great new shop! Absolutely thrilled by their look, atmosphere, acquired collection of drink options and the ambiance! The next place is going to have to step up to beat what Crucible offers and which is HARD to find and curate :) Excited to continue to see this amazing space grow, and at the very least see what they bring into the community and deliver with their amazing and exceptional creativity and wonderful specialties.
Come in, it’s great!

Good Joe. hipster vibe. Lots of laptops clicking indoors so evidently Wi-Fi. Plenty outside tables and inside. Pleasant fast service. Nice quiet setting and lots of parking. Dog water dish outside much appreciated.
Last visit, my favorite barista brought me a lotte in a real pottery cup. Civilized and caring.
Staunton has an amazing density of espresso shops and eateries so only the best survive.
Well 2 weeks ago, I left without my backpack with cell phone inside. Raced back and was handed one bag and cell. Makes friendly more than just a word.

Really enjoy the coffee, Mountain Music, Mexico (not in stock), and Kinfolk. We enjoy all three blend's,and it says a lot when the owner won't change their recipe because of the coffee beans don't meet their standards.

The coffee was very very good. It's a bit pricier than the average coffee shop, but worth it. The shop had a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. It was very clean and bright (most coffee shops seem to be dark and kind of dingy). The barista was nice and seemed to have had just the right amount of coffee. The music playing was inoffensive.

Pretty good cup of Joe. Nice area to walk around outside.

Best coffee in the county, hands down. A true coffee establishment.
