Visiting town and stumbled upon Crucible.
Beautiful shop - A LOT of thought put into this place.... There’s clearly a lot of quality invested into Crucible - both in thought, equipment, furnishing and $.
Tried two different pour overs - both were fantastic beans. Honestly, I was expecting the run of the mill generic Ethiopian Sidamo or Yirg roaster... Crucible is tiers above many shops in big cities.
It seems like their cafe is relatively new based on the lack of reviews - if you’re in Staunton, don’t skip this gem! They’re more than deserving of a visit.

Friendly and efficient service. Purchased two bags of beans and lattes for my husband and me. Located in a scenic area of Staunton.

Stumbled upon this establishment and was pleasantly surprised. We had a coffee, chai tea and a matcha latte. All were perfect and service was great.

I tried both of their lattes, an apricot almond and a rose cardamom. Beautiful and delicious. Flavorful, but not too sweet and you can still really taste the espresso. Staff is helpful and patient. I would absolutely reccomend

The coffee was delicious. I wish we'd had time to sit and enjoy it, it's a great little place, I love coffee places where you can actually see where they roast.

Delicious coffee and lattes! Extremely minimalist atmosphere, tasteful and refreshing, however not a comfy hang out. Perfect to get your coffee to go, but go elsewhere for a coffee date.

Wonderful coffee and tea selection. Relaxing atmosphere too.

Coffee was great and prices are fair. The location itself is lacking just a tad. It is an echo chamber. It might be a good idea to add some shelving/greenery to separate seating sections. Very little privacy. This place focuses on coffee, not so much the coffee shop experience.

Great locally roasted top tier coffee. Great single origin and blends.

The pour over coffee was very good and they had a packaged baked good that was gluten free.
