Too noisy. Workers don't even try to be quiet. Sitting close and can hardly converse!

More single origin offerings would be great. Also more creamer options. Other then that there's zero complaints: bathrooms were clean, seating area was spacious and trendy with a nice ambience, the bay door overlooks other historic buildings, and most importantly the coffee smells and tastes great! Will definitely be stopping in again

Coffee was very different from any other coffee I have ever had before, got the iced mocha. Not a bad place to try if your in the area but nothing out standing

We were lucky enough to stumble on this gem during a Labor Day trip through Virginia. We needed coffee in the morning and found this coffee shop. Not only is the coffee the absolute best the people could not be nicer. We bought some to bring home and ongoing will be ordering online. We had the Iron Horse, the flavor is "strong" but not bitter whatsoever, great coffee to start your day. I've been buying coffee at a local roaster in Columbus Ohio, but I have to say I found a new place for coffee.

Definitely the best flavor but not hot enough. I stopped going because I ordered here everyday via the Odeko app for at least two months. I received a gift card as a present and had to call in to place the order and pay in person with the card. They refused to take my order over the phone. Called another coffee shop and placed my order. No more crucible.

Great environment! 4 out of 5 stars because their steamer was broken. Would go again.

If you’re in Staunton (like I was) and searching for the best coffee, this is that place. Excellent coffee with some pastries. It’s all about the coffee. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Clean bathrooms.

Great coffee with indoor and outdoor seating. I would recommend more wall hangings (photos, art, tapestries, etc) for ambience and to reduce reflective sound off the hard surface walls and floor. I will be there again soon.

I was amazed by the friendly reception my friend and I received at Crucible. The baristas gave us advice on places to visit while in Staunton and even brought us water while we were sitting enjoying our drinks (which were great, by the way)! I've never experienced such personable, gracious service in a coffeeshop before. It felt like visiting in someone's living room. I will definitely be back in town just for Crucible!

Rarely have I ordered a coffee that I didn't have to doctor to make it what I wanted, but here it was perfect. I got their Brown Sugar coffee; not only was it the perfect temperature, but it was delicious. Will never go anywhere else when I'm in town!
