Grounded Coffee

I absolutely love the decor and layout of this coffee shop! If you are looking for a quiet place to work this is definitely the place for you. I will say that the coffee is nothing special and while the food is delicious it is a bit pricey.

Ahhhh Saturday morning at Grounded. The coffee is delicious and strong, the decor is stylish and best of all the staff is amazing. I have traveled all over the world and I can honestly say this is in the top 5 of coffees.

Pretty cool coffee shop with ok croissants. A little pricey though. Staff is super friendly. Other than that there's Nothing really special about this place.

Wonderful atmosphere with great drinks and eats. Pricing is a bit high at $17 for a speciality latte and avocado toast. Still will recommend to others. Great meeting spot.

the staff was pleasant and friendly. That is all I will say nicely about the cafe. I try to support the local establishments. This business i have a hard time with. I do not get value for my hard earned money.

This is a great little, local coffee shop that has good food and great quality coffee. The seasonal rosemary-cranberry latte is amazing! However, one recommendation from me to the owner would to add a couple more vegan food options on the menu. Other than that, everything else is top-notch.

Grounded coffee is an absolutely excellent coffee shop and so far is the best one that I have been to in Newport News. Delicious coffee and home-made syrups along with great bakery items make this a shop that is definitely a must go to whenever you are in the area. Previously I had given them 4 stars but now they have earned 5 as they now carry caramel as an option.

Just lovely all around. Very nice-looking sandwiches and pastries, and just enough selection. I got the turkey bacon ranch and it was delicious. Perhaps could have used another slice of turkey but then again I asked for no cheese. Fresh ingredients, perfectly-toasted bread. Everyone in the party enjoyed their food and drinks. Nice service. Peaceful yet vibrant vibe. Can't wait to have an opportunity to go back. Perhaps a little pricey for some but I think it was quite worth it.

- mostly indoor space (decent size but not huge)
- a few tables outside but you’re basically facing the road, not much to see lol
- Favorite thing is the London Fog tea! I actually started making it at home now. So yummy.
- nice and quick service

Delicious coffee and the baked Oatmeal is divine! I love supporting local coffee shops and local coffee roasters. 🥰 so grateful they were open! Tricky to find but worth it!
