Grounded Coffee

Pretty good black coffee. I really like their mocha as well - bold and right amount of sweetness (for me). They do have the decaf option.
Overall speciality drinks and food are a little too expensive for my taste.
The place is spacious with enough light to work/study.

Finally found my home for craft coffee in Hampton Roads. Love the quality, flavor, service and vibe. Make this your final stop for the best coffee in the area.

The girls who work here are so sweet!! I waited maybe 10 minutes for a coffee and tacos (not a problem at all, they were busy and I had nowhere to go) and when they brought me my order they gave me a piece of banana bread to apologize?? The food, coffee, and atmosphere are great here. 10/10 recommend. Happy to be moving closer to this shop so I can stop by more frequently :)

Myself and a coworker visited this coffee shop today to get some work done in a different space. The atmosphere was great. Loved the playlist and the overall aesthetic. The couch was comfy and even the temperature was good. My only complaint is the wifi. It was horrible. This is a great place to grab a bite to eat and chat with friends, but think twice before coming to get work done. At least if you need to work on the internet. The wifi went out repeatedly. Also, my cell service inside was terrible so I couldn't even use my hotspot. I was able to get some things done, but it really messed up my flow. This place was recommended to me by someone else that has worked here, and she said she hasn't experienced issues before. Maybe it was just today. I may give it another chance.

Love visiting this place once a year! The atmosphere is relaxing and The chicken salad sandwich is SoOoOo mouth watering good. I had to pair it with a few “To die for” Lucky Charms Rice Krispy Treats! They have to be hands down one of the best Rice Krispy Treats I ever had! I have to find another excuse to back more than once a year.

We love Grounded coffee! While the coffee is a little more expensive, the lattes actually taste like coffee vs. many other coffee shops where you are primarily drinking milk. The Northerner is my favorite. I would LOVE to see them add Sunday hours.

Very friendly staff. I ordered "something warm and sweet" to drink and the employees made a delicious drink for me. The breakfast sandwich was decent. My friend had the breakfast tacos and said they were good as well. I do wish they had more selection for breakfast foods. They do offer a variety of pastries as well. Will definitely go back.

This is a great coffee house. My wife and I often go here to work. The staff is always really inviting and the atmosphere is elegant and calming. I usually just drink their drip coffee. I wish it was a little stronger because I prefer coffee black. You can get food and pastries here but this is also a legitimate coffee house / workspace / meeting space.

It’s aesthetic, but more of a latte-type coffee shop. We got pour overs that took over 20 min. and were cold. The barista didn’t use a scale to measure the water, so she made some coffee, poured it into the cup, then made more to fill the cup, and repeated this for 20 min. We should have gotten the hint when we asked what beans they have for the pour over and they didn’t know the tasting notes.
