Beautifully kept bakery. Awesome coffee. Fabulous Pastry options and the cakes are to die for. The place is clean & offers a small dining space, just big enough for about 8-10 tables. You'll love it!

It was dinner time when I stopped by and it was fairly quiet on a Thursday. The fresh quiche with country ham was delicious and their coffee tastes like gourmet coffee shop speciality coffee The pound cakes looked amazing and I plan to try one next chance I have to visit . I got a few muffins to take home and they were very good variations on traditional flavors in a consistency that i consider perfect, not too dense and not too light but with just enough noistness and a little on the dense side without being heavy. I give extra points for the very friendly staff in traditional dress abd the charm of the place itself as an old school bakery of days gone by. This place is just a fee minutes off I-66 and a short trip from the crowded suburbs of Washington DC.

Didn't expect to find a nationally known local bakery/cafe in sleepy little Marshall, Virginia. Had a great pumpkin donut and coffee and they get extra points for serving gluten-free baked goods. Quite busy on a Sunday morning. Definitely worth making a detour off 66 if you are in the area.

A delicious hometown bakery with all the right style and flavor. This is the second and now main location. Warrenton has the original site. The bakery is spacious and staff is warm and welcoming. The baked goods are tasty to the last crumb. The coffee is the best around; black without fixings has a great flavor profile without heavy acid (bitterness). Try the granola at least once. It is heaven. Usually have breakfast sandwiches for the morning then a simple lunch fare. Always a nice compliment of baked goods that are rotated to keep a great variety. Check this place out, you will be back.

Best bakery period. Ya gotta go and see for yourself!

Simply the best in customer service, baked goods, and more. I am a long-standing Red Truck pie addict, and the sandwiches in the back cooler call my name every time I'm in the store. The staff members at the counter are always so friendly and helpful, too!

Always have great eats here. Triple chocolate cake was awesome. Ham quiche is Devine. Previously had focaccia bread which also rocked. Awesome place to check out. Note their prices may seem a little high but the quality is off the charts.

We're really trying to love this place, but several things we've tried are too dense and dry. It may just be our preference being different from others. The shop is nice, and the employees are very pleasant. They only have regular coffee, so no lattes or other styles.

My five star is for their broccoli soup - soup of the day, and croissant only.

So I haven't yet had the opportunity to try their pies, (one day!!!!) but got the broccoli soup, and a chocolate hazel nut croissant, what can I say! The soup was my highlight! delicious and hearty! With a lot of broccoli chunks inside, full of flavor... if something is gonna bring me back it will be their soup.

This is the second location they opened, and it looks spacious, with some art on the wall, nice clean bathrooms, in my opinion worth a detour, plus they sell moo thru ice cream.

Excellent croissant with ham and cheese, the granola was the best I've ever had. The blueberry donut had real blueberries! Very welcoming, we were lucky to stumble upon this bakery while driving through!
