Nestled on the main drag in Middleburg, VA is this delightful quaint coffee shop. The Middleburg Common Grounds has great coffee and lots of outside seating to enjoy your hot or iced Joe while soaking up the morning sun. It’s also very dog friendly with water bowls and treats for your furry friends. The staff is super helpful and nice. The breakfast dishes are tasty but small and leave you wanting a little bit more. All in all, a great spot to grab your morning coffee. The vanilla latte was delicious and had me wanting to go grab another to go!

We wanted to get some coffee in the morning and this looked like the best spot for it in the small town of Middleburg. This place is located in downtown and parking is on the street.

Upon entering you notice that it’s a nice spot for the locals to come and hang out in the morning. It would be a nice spot to study or read a book with chatter in the background.

We ordered a latte, avocado toast, and two build your own breakfast sandwiches. I got egg, cheddar cheese, sausage, and arugula. They serve their lunch sandwiches all day as well if you don’t want breakfast food.

The wife said the coffee was really good and if she was in town, she’d come back. The avocado toast was a bit too sour and salty. The breakfast sandwich was really good. The break was nice and toasted and had great texture.

We were in and out fairly quickly. Would come back if we are in the area.

Love love love this place. Visited Middleburg VA, breakfast and sandwiches were awesome with fantastic coffee. I cannot say a enough about how nice the staff were. We had our 7 pounds little chihuahua with us and they made a most fabulous pup cup for him.
Highly recommend this place for quick lunch or breakfast. We will definitely visit again. Dog friendly as well.

Dark, cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Love the decor. Had a mocha smoothie which was the best I've ever had. Creamy and rich! My wife had the caramel macchiato which which she says was one of the best she's had.

Cozy, friendly. I even got to overhear the owner interview a new barista and sharing the vision and culture. It was refreshing to hear her communicate the atmosphere and expectations clearly and valuing the young mans community service as experience.

Coffee was great and had one of the better apple fritters I've had in a long time. Bittersweet how busy it was that day with a holiday event downtown. Nice to see people validating my good taste in coffee shops 🤡, tough to find a seat.

Cozy little place and the food was very good. Went with my best friend and her husband, and we all enjoyed our meals. I got the bacon egg and cheese on a bagel, and it was good. My friend got the apple fritters and I had a bite and that was very sweet but good. Will go again.

This is a wonderful place to sit and pass some time. The doughnuts and coffee are on point and the staff are friendly and helpful. They also seem to have a rotation of local artists work on the walls, which I love. I look forward to going back.

Do not patronize this business if you are allergic to dogs. This coffeeshop seems to have an unofficial pet-friendly policy, though it has apparently been in some previous drama as there is signage by the entrance from the Loudoun County Health Department about how no dogs (other than certified service animals – which are allowed basically everywhere under federal laws anyways) are allowed. If you are allergic to dogs, don’t risk it. This business doesn’t seem to enforce the sign on the door, or care about your health.

Upon walking in I could tell this was a local hangout. That atmosphere was so welcoming. We got a couple of scones and I had the most wonderful hot Chai that I have ever had. A local was super friendly and engaged in conversation. I could see myself living here and would definitely be a daily visitor.

Come for the coffee, atmosphere, and friendly staff leave the food on the shelf.

I went to kill sometime before a meeting and thought I'd grab a nibble and some joe. Turns out I should have left the food alone. For the price I would have expected a croissant to be an all-butter, flakey layer affair. Turns out the croissant was a more of a croissant shaped mini-loaf of bread. Not bad, just a little disappointing.

The coffee was good, I will say. I also like sitting in the cafe and enjoying the scene. Just don't come hungry.
