Mr. J's Bagels & Deli

Oh come on it's Mr. J's! Only the best bagels in Virginia. The breakfast sandwiches with sausage/bacon, egg, and cheese are just so good and will cure anything that ails you. Try it on a jalapeno or everything bagel.

Other times it's fun to splurge, get a baker's dozen, a tub of cream cheese, and go to town. Their coffee isn't half bad either.

This is a great deli! Stopped by here on my way to Delaware. I got a turkey bagel and it was amazing! This place was VERY busy but they are organized and they serve the customers quickly. I will be back.

Oh, my Heaven! I am drooling even though I am full! The everything bagel toasted with cream cheese was 'everything' I had hoped for as we approached Harrisonburg, VA from Lynchburg, VA on our way back to New Hampshire. Mr. J's Bagel has the biggest and best bagels I have ever had. They have a wide assortment of bagels and toppings. But check their menu because they have sooo much more to offer. The service is really quick even though they are looking for help.
They require that you wear a mask.

Fine bagels most of the time but they are served with hate. The staff is always angrily shouting and they make me almost feel bad for being there and inconveniencing them. Bagels are hit or miss... sometimes they are stellar and other times they give the complete wrong thing and I am scared to take it back because the staff is always angry. I understand that it can get busy but I really don’t understand why they act so aggressively towards customers every single time.

Their jalapeño bagels are absolutely incredible! You can't go wrong with any of their breakfast sandwiches.

Mr. J's is the best place for a quick breakfast in the Harrisonburg area! If it's bagels, coffee, or a breakfast sandwich you want, Mr. J's will get you a good one!

Being from New Jersey I thought I would come to Virginia and struggle to find a decent bagel. Mr.J's is the best I've had in the state! They have an amazing and affordable menu that always leaves me and my friends satisfied and with a smile on our faces :)

The BEST bagel shop (outside NYC) bar none. Mr. J’s touts bagels with that slightly crisp outer skin that complements the soft, chewy, doughy center. 10 points on the richter scale- these bagels will rock your morning. Full complement of meats, cheeses, and spreads. So good I went right back into the store and ordered more once I tasted mine in the parking lot. Seriously tasty bagels! You GO Mr. J’s!

Love this place. Cashiers are friendly and helpful! Bagles are so tasty. Chicken Charlie and the egg white spinach are my favorite!

SKIP Dunkin' and go to Mr. J's Bagels! This is a great family owned place with affordable prices. The bagels, sandwiches, coffee and iced tea are all FANTASTIC. The bagels are especially good because they are fresh and have the toppings (garlic, everything, sesame, etc) on both the top and the bottom of the bagel (not just the top like most places). The atmosphere is nice, plenty of parking available, and the staff is usually on point, even at their busiest times.

Would be 5 stars but the girl at the counter got noticeably angry at the older couple in front of me for not knowing how the credit card machine works. But great food reminds me of back home.
