Stopped during a leaf peeping drive & had great service & yummy food! Fresh cut fries, the best burger I'd had in a long time & my husband had a great vegetarian sandwich. They had a sign out cautioning that they were short staffed & there could be a wait, but the service was quick. Indoor & outdoor seating too! Will definitely stop here again!

12.5.22 - update. Super Friendly and fast.
Unfriendly... the latte wasn't a latte and the americano tasted like hot water. You have to order food online but can order coffee and baked foods at the counter. Very uncomfortable, when we were trying to figure out what/how to order, they stared at us, no greeting no assistance. I used to come to this Cafe all the time on my way to brattelboro... not anymore.. 🤷‍♀️

Avoid Vietnamese beef on salad to go. Tough, greasy with a tiny amount of ruined arugula - threw it out

This place is deceiving from the outside. It is huge inside and has a seating area around the fireplace with a gift shop as well. Nice place to relax and converse.

Where’s the beef? Got a steak sandwich but they forgot most of the steak. Luckily the bread was so damn good I almost didn’t mind.

Good burgers. Good food. VERY inconsistent. You never know if or when they’re open.
If you can catch them open it’s great but it’s frustrating bc who knows when that might be….
