Nestled in along a beautiful little mountain town main street, this coffee shop/country store has it all. It's large but really lovely and has something on the menu for everyone. I had their breakfast burrito which I loved. Indoor and outdoor seating as well as a front nook area with a window facing the street next to the coffee counter. Well planned out and well executed establishment. Also, lot of local and organic food on the menu which is always great to see!

Stopped in for a late lunch on a Friday. Friendly service and my food arrived quickly. I had a veggie burger and a hot tea. The veggie burger was homemade - not a frozen mass produced patty - and the roll was soft and fresh. The sandwich was delicious and I regret not trying the fries! Lots of seating indoors and several tables outside. Bathroom was clean and there is a fun shopping area between where you order and the indoor seating.

What an excellent find! One morning on our recent trip to Wilmington, on our quest for the morning coffee fix, I stumbled upon this quirky little cafe. And am I glad that I did! Tried their coffee (cappuccino, house blend with maple shot) blueberry muffin and almond biscotti and that was a perfect start to our morning! So unforgettable that we came back the next day for lunch and ordered from their sandwiches: Shazza #2, Happy Hen, Vietnamese beef roll with an order of Cajun fries. True to our expectations, the food was excellent and we have nothing but praises for the place. Thank you for making our otherwise short and uneventful trip remarkable!! :D

What a surprise to find such a great place in a small rural town! They have a good offer of sandwiches from local organic ingredients as well as a decent coffee. I really loved their cheeseburger and all three varieties of fries! Additionally, if you are in the area and need to work remotely, they have plenty of space to sit, power outlets, and a reliable wifi. They’re open until 5pm. However, after 4pm they start cleaning already and make it obvious that one should leave well before official closing time.

Unique decor and homey setting.
Hubby and I came in for a light lunch during our snowboard trip at Mount Snow.
You place and pay for your order at the front, they will bring the food to you when ready.
We picked a corner table by the window with comfy sofa seating at the back room. The Green Mountain Turkey Sandwich was delicious, and the Beef Chili was tasty too.
It was relaxing and we’d like to come back to eat and chill again.

The Roost is a must stop if you're in town!! I've been coming here for years and they're my favorite! Their curry and Cajun fries are the best ever! Everything I've ever ordered from here has been incredibly delicious. They know how to do food and do it damn good! I don't actually know if their bakery items are made in house but omg hats off to whoever does them because they're delicious! I got a lemon bar a few months ago that snatched my soul. And their staff is always delightful and super friendly! I love their ordering system and their gorgeous dining room inside. In the spring and summer you have to sit on their deck, what a vibe. Can't wait to go back.

The four of us were staying in Wilmington for the week and doing some skiing at Mount Snow. Our friends recommended this place for lunch, and we decided to give it a try. The burgers were fantastic and we returned 2 more times to try them all. I highly recommend the “Not Breakfast” burger and the “Bird’s Nest” burger, both were great. The soup was good too, but if you come here, you’re likely coming for the burgers. They have good sandwiches also: the Vietnamese one is delicious. If you’re in the area, give it a try.

They are pretty slow with the orders, but everything taste good. I think we waited 10-15 minutes and there was only a few people in front of us. We also got different coffee and hot chocolate drinks and they all were awesome! Location is perfect. Very clean. The back of the cafe is very stylish unique. Definitely recommend for breakfast or hot drinks...

Please proceed with caution when you order a gluten-free hot wrap, unfortunately, we had a reaction from cross-contamination off of the press or the grille, we do not know which.

Our cheesesteak press tasted amazing, but our GI system did not enjoy the meal as much as our tastebuds.

Their baked raspberry tart with almonds was very good and paired nicely with lemon sorbet.

The absolute best place for breakfast, lunch, or just a quick stop in for a latte or some baked goods. They have the actual friendliest and most attentive staff, the most delicious food, and they even have tons of gluten free and vegan items. My favorite place in southern Vermont (maybe all of Vermont?), hands down. Plus they even have matcha lattes now too!
