Rosie's is a standard, run of the mill diner. The prices are good, but the food is comfortable if not a little bland. I've been there several times over the years, and most recently I've gotten take out during the pandemic. If you're looking for classic American fair, Rosie's is a safe choice. There's something for most people on the menu, but nothing overly impressive.

Basic but well done lunch. Hamburgers good (though I've never seen raisins in slaw, not a fan). Family owned, friendly servers.

We went for breakfast. Service was slow but friendly. The food was mediocre at best but very expensive for what you got. The coffee creamers were room temp but they weren't the ones that don't need refrigeration and one of them was clearly bad as it was chunky. One of our orders was wrong in spite of it being exactly the same as another order that they got right. The bowl of jelly packets was gross and sticky. I could easily have made a better breakfast at home for less than 1/5 the price. This place was recommended by the hotel we were staying at as the best breakfast place in Middlebury. Unless it's the only one I hope that isn't true or I hate to see how bad the others are.

We only stopped in for coffee but, the description of their home fries smothered in cheddar and bacon was irrisistable (sp). So good! Great service, too!

I love Rosie's. They make amazing pies. Once you know what you are getting here you'll enjoy your visit. It's not Michelin star, it's good diner food. It's just like sitting down for family dinner. You'll be full, feel the love and your wallet won't hate you afterwards. My person favorite is the turkey dinner, it comes with all the fixings and it's delicious!
