The food was good and the service was very friendly. We were told the split pea soup was pretty bland, ordered it anyway and our waitress was absolutely correct and we should have listened to her. There are also quilt wall hangings that were very pretty

Turkey club was ample and delicious! Sweet potato fries are more like wedges but we're still good.

We had not been able to visit Rosie's for some time. The menu has changed: excellent food. Very nice service. Our lunch for 4 was really nice.

The most important thing to point out about this standard New England roadside spot is that the staff is super friendly. And our party of 5 was able to walk in for dinner on a Monday evening near Middlebury—apparently, this is a laughably difficult feat for those unfamiliar with the town. As much as we wanted to like the food, however, this was not to be. The waitress kindly warned us that the prime rib special had been eaten down to the nubby ends. We should have heeded the warning. The meatloaf was serviceable and the spaghetti and meatballs should wait for a restaurant perhaps not in the middle of rural VT. One bright spot were the green peas! Still, I would definitely give Rosie’s a whirl for breakfast, or maybe a burger and fries for lunch. And, as a last resort dinner, we’ve had worse.

Food was good once it finally arrived. Charged for refills, seemed a bit strange! Waitress brought us the wrong food first time! Menu very large and plenty of room to sit, surprisingly full for a Monday night.

We were visiting the area from Ohio and were told about Rosie's. What can we say except that Rosie's won us with down home cooking and the pie and cake case up front was too much! During our stay we returned several times. We love this place!

Food was 👍 very good. Stopped for breakfast. Waitress was friendly. Place was clean. Plenty of parking. No complaints about this establishment at all. Will definitely stop in again.

Everybody was so kind there, and the pancakes were good too. I told them I was visiting Middlebury for the day, and they got a city map for me, and it really helped me find some interesting spots in town. They went out of their way for me.

We split the pancakes and an omelet. The pancakes were really good. But my favorite may have been the obviously homemade hot chocolate.
