Great cafe/bakery and a lovely place to grab either a quick bite or get brunch. Plenty of seating options esp in the summer time with outside seating as this place gets very busy.
Get there early if you want their maple biscuits. We all wanted them however they were gone at 1PM.
One of the special of the day was polenta with cured salmon. The polenta was excellent and creamy without being cheese and cream heavy.
Personally I didn't like the chicken BanhMi as it had parsley instead of cilantro. Dnt get me wrong: if considered as just a sandwich it is 10/10 however it was not mentioned to me while ordering (the menu had cilantro).
Their coffee is great and a few other drinks are also great. The avocado toast was fresh and the bread is crispy and doesn't get soggy. The pickled onions on the top adds much needed acidity and balances well with the creamy avocado without
overpowering the flavor.
Will definitely go back if I am again in the area.

Breakfast sandwiches to die for, great coffee, but No espresso? Really? It’s ok, I forgive you.

an adorable little spot in Burlington that I highly recommend if you're in the mood for some sweet treats and good coffee. They seem to be so popular that certain items on the menu sell out fast since they make all their food onsite--which is good! i highly recommend the ginger lemon scone.

Went in for coffee and a biscuit and was upsold on the biscuit to include butter and jam which sounded really nice. I received my coffee within 5min and then waited an additional 25min for the biscuit. At this point I went up to the cashier asking for just a regular biscuit of which there were many on the counter. The cashier informed me that the food was taking 30min. If I would have known that adding jam and butter to a biscuit would delay my order by 30min then I would have just gotten a plain biscuit which is what I wanted in the first place. I waited outside and someone walked the biscuit to me and said “we bumped it up for you” so the additional 25min wait was actually, in their minds, rushed. Thank you for the favor of adding jam and “bumping me up” in line for a barely warm biscuit pictured below. Adding the jam was so worth the wait.....

The "A Laptop Free Establishment" is an elitist, hippie, ridiculous, out-of-date and snobby policy. Imagine how much longer people would sit and consume if they weren't shamed for being technologically engaged, and instead forced to eat and rush out! Aside from that silly sign, which we simply ignored, they have great bread and sandwiches! Cookies for dessert are a must...

The breakfast was good and the coffee was okay, but the no laptop policy is unprogressive. People pay for their meal just to be told you can't work here and potentially give them more money through out the day. People go to Cafes to accomplish work these days, seems like an outdated policy.

Worth the waiting. The don sandwich is very good

The breakfast sandwich was delicious.

"Eat the East" was amazing. It was our first time going and my husband wasn't going to get a sandwich because he isn't a big fan of egg. But he tried one bite of mine and went back to order his own.

Great atmosphere and yummy food, can't go wrong!

The Day maker is our favorite! We were in town for just a couple of days and this sandwich brought us in twice to August First. A 10/10 sandwich. The maple biscuit is really good, I love that it wasn’t too sweet. We can’t wait to come back to try other menu items. They also have pretty good coffee, I grabbed a maple latte which was tasty (not strong on the maple though), and I know it’s good when I don’t need to add sugar to it.

Overall this is a really great spot!

Delicious! I only I could have tried more, but it was just me and I was there for work so a bit busy. I ordered the maple latte and maple biscuits, which were both very tasty. Everything else also looked very good and a ton of options even around the morning rush!
