I had the Forester and it was like tasting heaven during a cold snowy day. 🥰

Stopped in for a bacon, egg, and cheese on a maple biscuit. What a fantastic idea. Every bite was delicious. Excellent brunch spot in town.

I loved EVERYTHING about this place. We got lucky to come in on a weekday so got a full table for ourselves easily (I bet it gets extremely busy on weekends) and the weather was beautiful. The entire place has high ceilings and big windows and sun is pouring in. I could have lounged there all day. They opened the garage door and a nice breeze came in. I was so comfortable.
And the food, sigh, the food. I had the quinoa bowl which is simple in essence but tasted so fresh and their lemony sauce made it extra yummy. My partner had an eggs and sausage skillet and loved it as well. We also got some bread and fresh scones out of the oven and these were perhaps the best scones I have ever tasted, and I've tried a few in the UK.
To top if off, it was affordable and the staff was very friendly. Burlington was just a stopover on the way home to Montreal and I would honestly come back here JUST for August First!

We went there after trying another bakery in Burlington the day before and being disappointed. August First was the bakery that we needed for our sugar fix. We tried their pain au chocolat, lemon ginger scone, and muffin. It was all really good.

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had! The Vermonter is simple, yet complex with the apricot/tomato jam on the bread. Great blueberry muffin! Had to take a few muffins for the road because they were so good. Great atmosphere with dividers all over the restaurant for COVID safety!

Fantastic breakfast! Croissants are HUGE and so flakey. Daily specials with a good variety. Coffee is delicious. Saturdays they close off the street for a significant amount of done in space.

I am so glad I found this place on Trip Advisor before coming to Burlington. It was the highlight of our vacation. The food was outstanding, especially the warm biscuit with the homemade raspberry jam! The grilled cheese was delicious, as well as the turkey sandwich I got. The chocolate croissant was so flaky and the chocolate melted in my mouth. The ice tea was very good too. We will forever talk about our delicious lunch here and if we make it back to Burlington in the future we will return!

This is the best coffee/breakfast in Burlington! I am so happy we found this cute cafe. They really have the best coffee and their food is to die for. They have a huge selection of baked goods. Their Maple Biscuit is incredible. I'm sure we will be back again soon!

Top of the heap for local bakeries & eateries. Famous for the 'no laptop' policy, which keeps the restaurant quiet and social (but quaintly antiquated given the popularity of cell phones!). Staff is friendly & fast, and the Maple Scones are like a Noir villian: seductive & deadly (to your diet!). Breakfast and lunch sandwiches, amazing breads and a good coffee selection are worth the visit. Great for tourists, business visitors and locals due to the downtown, walk-friendly location. One of my favorites! Very highly recommended!!

Such a gem of a bakery. As a baker, I often look for the freshest of baked goods. They were warm out of the oven and scrumptious! Beautiful place and friendly service.
