Mom's Cafe

Clearly don’t serve people from out of town. Locals only sort of joint. Ignored by the 3 waitresses on staff. Shame, was looking forward to it.

Food was amazing! Had a hot beef open faced, the bread was toasted and had gravy and was great, mashed potatoes and gravy were fabulous. Definitely come here and I’d come back next time we’re here!

This was the worst meal ever!!! Had i seen the bathroom before my meal we would have left. It is dirty and run-down. Desperate need of a remodel and a better cook.

What a great little American cafe. The food and staff were great and friendly. We visited on our multiple state motorcycle road trip and the staff was amazing and helpful as well as very knowledgeable. Thanks for the great memories.

The prior review says "short staff" ... I received half of my order which was a patty melt with fries. The onions which are supposed to be grilled were cold. My fries did not come with the patty melt. My partner did not receive his salad. The cafe was two thirds full ... other people received their orders. I asked to speak to a manager because we should not have had to pay for our meal. They were actually going to charge us for my partner's salad which he never received! No manager came so I paid for 2 drinks and the worst patty melt I've ever had. We won't stop there again!

Very delicious homemade food! I had the daily special which was meatloaf and real creamy mashed potatoes and sweet carrots. My husband had the chicken fried steak and said it was the best he has ever had. Crispy outside and the gravy and mashed potatoes were so very tasty. Also came with a homemade scone with raspberry honey butter. And the service was awesome! The server had a cute personality and was fun! Will definitely come back again next time we pass through Salina!

Impromptu stop coming off the Interstate. Meal was exceptional. I enjoyed the steak salad. My daughter had roast beef. Pecan pie was outta the world.

They have delicious food, and the staff are always so kind and willing to chat with you as they go about their work. Best place to eat in town as far as I'm concerned!
