Mom's Cafe

Was planning on getting gas station fried chicken to save time, but discovered Mom's Cafe and tried it completely on a whim. I was not disappointed! They make their own ground beef from local cattle, and the french fries are hand cut daily. The decor and atmosphere of Mom's is total Americana and one of a kind!

Absolutely a wonderful place, food was amazing and the staff was incredibly friendly!

Excellent food and service in a historic building! Pot roast was top notch and so was the burger and cherry pie.

Wonderful breakfast- we took a little detour- glad we did! Fluffy light sweet pancakes and chicken fried steak and eggs with biscuits and gravy….. we will be back

One of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. Was driving through on I70 cross country. Decided to take the mile off the highway for a local meal and was blown away. Worth the stop, deserves it's "world famous". Gonna have to make sure next time I'm driving by I don't miss the opportunity for such a delicious meal again!

This is one of those places, if you are in town or traveling, you won't be disappointed

THE BEST DINER I’VE EVER BEEN TO! This place is amazing! Great fresh homemade food, friendly wait staff and AMAZING prices. I am so happy to have stumbled upon this place and highly recommend it!

I would like to have posted pictures of my food, but after 45 minutes we left without any food.

We sat down and were told there were only 2 servers and one cook. Thank you for letting up know.

A table next to us, sat down about 10 minutes after we ordered and they got their meal. They didn’t like their meal, so they re-cooked their food…served them the new meal, and still we had no food.

After seeing our server, who we had not seen for 45 minutes, she told us, they accidentally “pulled” our ticket and they were making our food now. We left. As did the table next to us, who had the same bad customer service.

If there is a bright spot, They did not charge us for the coffee or orange juice though.

Locals get good service, while the rest of us get what is left over. Don’t waste your time unless they know you.

By the way, it’s seat your self…sit at any dirty table you can find.

Holy cow was this place good!! Classic small town diner, very kind staff, and delicious food. Try the scone! They’re different than the scones I grew up with in the Midwest, but boy are they delicious!

Food preparation..... ok, nothing to brag about. Food itself tasted again okay.
Very nice setting here. Historical place, one for the ages. recommended if you're in the area.
