This place is a fun experience every time I come, and always has such friendly staff! I’ve had most of their flavors, but I tried mojito Italian ice for the first time and wasn’t very impressed. If you are a fan of mint pina colada, then this is your flavor! A little overpowering. Wonderful ice cream shop though!

"How are you doing today?" A staff member asked my family. "Good" my daughter said, then commenced to tell him how last time we came here, I (mom) ordered her the wrong flavor, and it was melted before we got home. This staff member made have her an extra squeeze of ice cream to make up for the poor experience she had (Even though it Sub Zerosfault!)

Really good ice cream but holy sh**... never had slower service in my life. I'm currently standing in line and I haven't moved forward for 10 minutes. Still 15 people in front of us and it will probably take an hour to get our ice cream. Be ready to wait. The staff doesn't seem interested in putting "the pedal to the metal" and getting us out of here.

Just saw some patrons leave who were in front of us because the quality of the ice cream was not worth the time wasted. Mr. Business owner, work on your process or you won't last.

Waited quite a while in line. The first time I ordered a white chocolate with oreos and cherries. Sat down to eat it- the ice cream literally tasted like nothing and was an odd icy texture. I went back up to the counter and the girl working told me that the white chocolate flavor is "not good." So I got pumpkin with oreos for the next go around. They forgot the pumpkin flavor. So once again my ice cream tasted like milk and crushed oreos. Frustrating, especially for over $5...

Delicious ice cream with lots of choices for flavors and mix ins. They use the liquid nitrogen right in front of you, which is super fun to watch! I especially love the shakes.

A unique style of icecream
Pros
-You get a new type of icecream, creamy, extra creamy, custard-like, etc.
- 30 or so flavors, such as nutella, cake batter, piña colada flavor
- Toppings
- Kids love it

Cons
- I personally never like it quite as much as I think I will.
- The store needs a good mopping on the floor

Very fun to see your ice cream made right before your eyes! A definite must visit in an old part of town and a modernized old historic building! I and my friends loved it!

Cool vibes. Nice workers. Needs some artwork upstairs. Perhaps a mural of “Nitrogen dimethyltryptamine”. The vegan ice cream if you get pistachio is like eating Wriggles Spearmint Gum (texture and look).

I am not a vegan, and I feel disappointed whenever I'm faced with those options. However, much sister is, and she wanted some ice cream. Which is difficult, but not impossible, thanks to sub Zero.

So I'm cruising orem, and chatting with my buddy Jonathan. He has been a vegan before, mostly for the experience (we've put down a Costco pizza together) and I needed some advice on where to go for my vegan sister. After some debate and a quick Google search, sub zero came up as the ice cream joint of choice.

We walk in, and were greeted by a manager. Lots of makeup, but very inviting and kind. My sister's jaw dropped when they told her she could have cotton candy flavor. We watched as the workers made our ice cream in front of us, all in turn, with the liquid nitrogen. I'm a biotech major, and we usually use the stuff for other experiments, but ice cream is the most delicious.

We get the ice cream, and by golly, it's some of the best I've had from a shop. BYU creamery still wins for bulk, but this stuff was delicious and very well made. My sister was so, so, so happy, which isnt an easy feat to achieve!

Overall, great ice cream, great joint, and the loft is really fun. They do have that super annoying "choose your tip" thing with the card reader, but you can get past that by paying in cash and giving a dollar to the tip jar. Best way to do it too, because no one really deserves 4$ to make 4 ice creams. Hell, I'll do it for 4$.

Anyways, would go again.

The ice cream exceeded my expectations, I love how you can see them freeze it in front of you. The service was the best part, the lady that helped me was extremely kind. I believe he name was Ivana? Definitely recommend it!
