Waiting 20 minutes for a table was well worth the wait. Food and service first rate.

Delightful family owned restaurant. Great atmosphere, delicious food.

Food and service are terrific. I ordered the shrimp tacos and my husband and friend had the ribs and lasagna...all were very good. The restaurant and bathrooms were spotless and their is seating indoors or out. In fact, you can take your well behaved and leashed dog on the outside patio. The deserts looked yummy but we were too full to order.

Went on Sunday night told it was 45 minute wait, not many options in Kanab on Sunday so put our name and gave our cell number to get text when table ready. Really efficient.
Got seated at a four top and slight delay in getting water. Place seemed short staffed, we were patient.
Hubby ordered tropical pig and I got pistachio chicken. Both were delicious especially coconut rice.
Two entrees, one cranberry juice and order of coconut rice to go set us back $66 prior to tip. A little pricey but food was worth it.

The food was way overpriced for what was received. My fiancé picked out the ribs which came out cold and not seasoned. The bbq sauce was its seasoning - we think it was made earlier in the day and that it was boiled, not grilled or smoked. My pasta dish wasn’t bad but expensive knowing pasta is made in large batches and came out right after it was ordered. We much would have preferred waiting another 10-15 minutes for freshly made food than batch made food at the price. The service was okay, our waitress provided the bill before we finished our meal which is a pet-peave of mine and the other server brought out the other table’s food in batches and the wrong food to one lady at the table.

Visiting Kanab for the first time we were impressed with the charming town quite different from the tourist bustling cities in the south end of Zion. What makes Kanab unique is the number of establishments like Wild Thyme Café that simply exceed the preset expectations one might have of a small town. Wild Thyme Cafe's menu was exciting, diverse, and adventurous much like the surroundings. We absolutely enjoyed the Chicken Pistachio, a delicious crust and flavorful chicken served with potatoes that were also well seasoned and perfectly cooked (I should say I generally am not a fan of potatoes, and I enjoyed it). On our third night in Kanab while we wanted to try a different restaurant, the one with the most number of reviews on here, that kitchen was not able to accommodate the influx of orders, so after a second or two we did not hesitate to go back to Wild Thyme Café where we knew we would not be disappointed. We had the Cliffhanger & Tropical Piggy. The Cliffhanger was a fulfilling sandwich after a long day at the parks and the tropical piggy had a generous portion of Jamaican jerk flavored pork. Both our orders were picked up curbside, and we were impressed with the staff who followed covid19 precautions and the food was ready on-time.

Decent place for a stop off passing through on our way to Zion. No wait on a Saturday evening. The ingredients seemed fresh and there were plenty of options for vegetarians. We tried the falafel bowl and the sesame tofu bowl, as well as the soup of the day. Loved the soup (bean and tomato), falafel was good but we didn’t care for the tofu bowl. Rice was a little overcooked/mushy.

We were looking at places to eat in Kanab and this kept coming up as a highly recommended option. We ended up getting a couple burgers, curry, and a couple deserts. The service was average. When we got the bill, I noticed a 20% mandatory gratuity had already been added due to our family of 5 being a "large party." When we went to pay the bill, we were once again prodded for another 20% minimum tip.

Not that we mind leaving a good tip, but tacking on 20% to start with before asking for another 20-30% is misleading and left us feeling like someone was trying to take advantage of us. We'll pass the next time we're out.

One of the best restaurants! We enjoyed very much the food, atmosphere and service. Very good cocktails as well.
For dinner, it is recommended to make a reservation, as we had to wait >45 minutes, since it is a very popular choice for many... I'm looking forward to dining there again.

We really enjoyed Wild Thyme Cafe. I definitely recommend the ribs as they were very tender and flavorful. The margarita was good, but nothing spectacular, and likely a few dollars overpriced at $12. They also did not have French fries available. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience and I would be happy to return!
