Relaxed and fun atmosphere. Service was a bit slow but totally worth it. Excellent pizza and enjoyed looking through the outfitter store while we waited.

Just got back from lunch there. A really great pizza and an Escalanta BLT; yum! Also a coffee bar, gift shop, maybe even an outfitter; but best for last: A berry crumble. Clean with very nice staff.

This place us fantastic! The staff are super helpful and friendly. The cabins were nice and clean. The AC was a nice thing to see when we opened the door. The showers were super, great pressure, plenty of room. I have super thick hair and it was nice to have great water pressure to rinse out the road grit from riding a motorcycle all day. Ok...can we now talk about how FREAKING AWESOME their food is!!!! The pizza is to die for. Probably the best breakfast quiche that I have ever tasted in my life! It was made with love. Hands kneaded that homemade crust, rolled it over a floured board, and shaped it in that big glass deep dish pie pan! Their fruit cobbler, fresh berry muffins, homemade baked oatmeal, and not to leave out sticky buns and cinnamon rolls, breakfast calzones...absolute perfection. Don't miss this opportunity when you're in the area.

I make it a point to plan to eat here in the cafe whenever I'm in the area. Absolutely love their food. I usually get one of the pizzas, but this most recent time, my group also got one of their awesome salads and sandwiches. Definitely lots of quality food, and the folks here are very kind and genuine.

Incredible shop, amazing pizza, coffee and very helpful and friendly staff! Booked one of the cabins knowing I would be arriving into town after they closed and the staff was super helpful and had our room all set for us when we got there. Very dog friendly! The perfect little spot if you're arriving late or want a nice bed and shower after hitting the desert for a few days. Pizza is absolutely to die for! Perfect spot to grab any gear you might need! Will definitely be back.

Amazingly good pizza. Waitresses were polite and welcoming. A great place to stop after spending the day out in the monument. Also they have about everything you’d need to your adventures.

The only reason this establishment can get away with the service that was offered to us because they are one of maybe 3-4 functioning restaurants in Escalante. There are 8 tables inside- with only five of them being able to seat a family of four. The first night we were here, there was no available inside seating and they had no gas heaters for their outdoor seating. On the first time we visited, we left.
The second visit, they were very crowded, but while we were in line to order, I had my children sit at a table. The food was good, but really not much from which to choose. Primarily, pizza.
The third time we came (again no restaurants in town), I had the boys walk to a table while I got in line. Then a lady ( Manager?? Waitress?? Owner?? Who knows??) literally told me we couldn’t sit down. Keep in mind moments later- that table would likely be gone. She said we can only sit after we order. So naturally, I ordered a soda for my son so we could sit. She was NOT happy. She insisted asking if we were ordering other food. I told her yes we were ordering after my husband got in, we’d be in line. She continued to argue with me. She didn’t stop us from sitting with the soda, but her mannerisms insisted we didn’t have long for my husband to join us (from literally the parking lot) Before we would be evicted from the table.

You don’t order at the table and pay at the end. So be careful if you get up from your table to place any additional orders.

As we left two parties tried to get our table at the same time. It was a hot mess. Rude worker lady told one that the other had been here longer (though I am not sure she could really know because she was all over the place). I felt so sad for the one who was basically told to back off. She tried to speak up for herself and say they had been waiting a long time too, but rude worker just walked off.... this was as I was cleaning off my own table. I am not sure if that is what we were supposed to do or not?? Some people were and some weren't. Anyway?!?

Again, pizza was good, but if there were any other options in town, that would be the choice, unfortunately it is extremely limited and the service is a direct result.

I will add that there was one man who worked there (that allowed the others to stay at their saved table) who was constantly going around trying to help customers. He was really trying hard, but that one sour lady made it awful.

We were happy to discover they have a small laundromat for the public to use. Three washers and two dryers. Came in very handy during our 2 weeks camping trip. Laundry facilities were clean and the gluten free pizza crust was delicious while we waited for our laundry to finish.

Great food! We ordered a standard pepperoni pizza and loved it so much we were back a couple days later to try their sandwiches for lunch... and then I went back on my own for pizza again. Very friendly staff, too.

We are RV camping in Grand Staircase and needed a laundromat but seemed all were closed for the season. The nice grocery store clerk told me about Escalante Outfitters. The staff are super nice and helpful and they had a great little laundry room out back. A nice bonus is they also have a liquor store - a rarity in Utah!! Their store looks great and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend this place!!
