Escalante Outfitters

Stayed in the cabins for two nights mid September and ate 3 lunches and a dinner at the restaurant. Absolutely fabulous food. Pizza and sandwiches some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Staff were awesome too and even gave us directions to a sweet hike location.

Driving through Escalante on the way to dinner in Boulder, UT and wanted an afternoon coffee. We stopped here because it looked really cute and the sign said it served coffee. We were blown away with the awesome coffee drinks (lattes) and the friendly staff and comfortable seating both inside and out. Definitely a most pleasant surprise. Treat yourself...by the way, the food we saw being served looked SO good.

Best pizza in all of Utah. No, seriously it’s great. The Chef has developed this dough recipe for 10 years according to the owner and uses the same sourdough starter for the whole time. The crust was well done on the bottom with a perfect mahogany brown with perfectly crisp Asiago baked on. Sauce was great cheese was the perfect amount and the whole thing was covered in a delicious herbaceous seasoning.

In addition to the menu the staff was great, especially Fran, and worked very hard to keep everyone there happy.

If you are anywhere near here it is worth a stop, again and again.

Really quaint shop/cafe/pizza joint right in Escalante. Good pizza that wasn't greasy, good beverage selection. The store was like a mini REI and had a lot of very good products. Was the most happening place in town.

Yo New Yorkers! If you're driving by hit this place. Try their pizzas, I'm telling you, if you eat at Lombardi's, NY Suprema's, or Sal's and Carmines Upper west side then you MUST try their pizzas, unique sandwiches, we did their plant base Hummus and Italian Sub and it was outstanding! Try their local Utah light beer. It's a free refill too and NYkers love that! BTW, The owner is a ex-New Yorker so show him some love!

Spent the night here before a big hike and had two meals—all fantastic. Cabin is a bed and two tables, all you need anyway when you’ll be outside all day! Came with love my handmade soap. Salads are hearty and huge with good spring mix, pizzas tasty with a lot of variety, desserts also generous. They sell beer, wine and kombucha (the basics!) and have a decent selection of backpacking and day hiking gear. Would absolutely recommend!
