So cute! Had wonderful customer service and was just an adorable little shop! So glad I got to stop in!

My daughter and I come here often and we love it. Great service and a great atmosphere. Love their selection of books. Such a lovely bookstore and cafe.

A pretty decent cafe in Waco. They have some cool literature-inspired drinks and good beers. It's a nice place to study or read, but it does get pretty crowded on weekends and a bit too loud.

I can't really describe how much I love this place! Everything from the mural on the outside wall, to the decoration inside, to the snacks and drinks they serve is just perfect and I feel like it was designed for me specifically 😂 They have a wonderful selection of books, and I love that they display ratings and reviews of some of their employee's favorite books. This is very helpful in choosing a book if you aren't looking for one specific and just want to find a good surprise. They have a super cute children's area, and have lots of reading nooks and places to sit and enjoy your beverage, or enjoy a good book. I am so glad Waco finally got a local book shop like this.

A pretty standard book store / coffee shop combo. It's probably a decent place to study if you're still in college. However, as I was wandering around the book isles, I overheard a couple of employees talking about how they were so excited to show case Young Adult Pro Trans / LGBTQ books for June. Aka = they are super excited to curate a collection of child grooming books to specifically target the children who are brought into the shop.

The exposure of such major adult themes to children is grooming and arguably child abuse. It is extremely inappropriate and should not be accepted, let alone celebrated by staff members (publically on the sales floor, no less). I sincerely hope that the owners / operators of this shop agree that sexualizing and grooming children is wrong and that they are working to prevent that kind of behavior in their establishment. The purity of childhood innocence and imagination should be protected and not intentionally destroyed by strangers. I would have hoped that a bookstore would understand that. Stop sneakily selling propaganda to kids and get back to just book.

This place is great to go to chill and have a tea, coffee, or other drink and study, read, or just have a moment with friends. I have tried a few of their drinks and while most are a miss for me, my recent favorite has been their Thumbelina drink, which is a peach blossom tea with raspberry and vanilla.

They do offer free wifi as well and have a small, but decent collection of books and other things. They have a few food items and offer cookies as well, though I think these are the expensive ones from the milk bottle cookie place.

I wish they had a few more treat type things to offer, but otherwise a good place to go to.

I took off 1 star because their drink size is a bit inconsistent. Sometimes its in the larger cup and sometimes in the smaller one. So I am not actually sure which cup it is suppose to be.

Otherwise, friendly staff and a cozy store. Check it out if you just want a place to chill for a bit.

A beautiful bookstore and café with a large kid's section, a diverse and well curated selection, and helpful notes from staff on many of the books on offer.

Stumbled on this shop while walking around downtown on vacation. SO MUCH FUN. Full of hidden treasures and details like...a single desk work nook which was an “introvert-but-still-need-people-around-me”’s dream (ME), a fur coat filled wardrobe in the kids space, library scented candles, a private room for events and activities, and some of the most stout espresso I’ve ever tasted. Really great find. Glad we made the stop.

First time today - we met with Elizabeth, the book whisperer, and she had me pegged in a half hour!

Great ambiance, great selection, amazing staff! Thank you for the experience - will absolutely be back soon!!!

A cute little book shop in the heart of Waco, Texas. They seemed to have a representation of virtually every literary genre, though I was not truly making a list. Categories are smallish but what this little bookstore lacks in inventory it more than makes up for in personality. There's a small cafe inside, as well. And while this is normal and almost expected in today's indie book shops, there is both a delineation and a merging of the two herein. I was not approached for assistance but every person working smiled at me, making me feel welcome. This, friends, is an introvert's haven. The place was crowded but I was happy to see it so; the holidays are upon us, after all. I was seeking a gift but sadly didn't find anything to fit my needs. But I will be back, because once my daughter sees it, she'll be hooked!
