We had a virtual 'meeting' with Avery, the children's bookseller at Fabled, in advance of our visit to the store next month, and it was a highlight of my daughter's whole year. Avery was so informed about children's literature, responsive to my daughter's interests and needs, and abundantly kind. There should be a special place in everyone's hearts for a place that so clearly cares about customers' experiences...even before they ARE customers. We are enthusiastic fans for life of this store and can't wait to buy a bunch of books there!

Lovely independent bookstore with class ! So many nods to classic literature in decor and names of drinks. Spacious and cozy all at the same time. Welcoming space.

An amazing local book store that offers something for everyone, from their cute children's books to epic fantasy novels and just about everything in between. The staff is all so lovely and very helpful

Wonderful coffee and atmosphere. "Staff pick" books are featured throughout the store to make it easier to pick what to read. They also have super cute bookmarks, planners, stickers, etc to choose from. One of my favorite places in Waco!!

Weekday is a good time to hang out and work. Not too busy, music is a little loud but not too loud if you're in that little corner near the front entry of the bookstore.
Coffee and chai are great!

We went here when we visited Texas. I was looking for a particular autobiography of Walt Disney. The staff was so nice and helped me look, the place was adorable… unfortunately the coffee shop part was closed for the day, we got there right before store closing time. We were pleasantly surprised with this spur of the moment stop.

A friend and I visited a few weeks ago and loved this adorable and hip bookstore! Our experience was wonderful!

I bought a toy for my son here and it broke when we got home. I emailed the bookstore just to see if I could possibly get a refund and I was emailed back quickly. I was treated with respect and they offered to ship a new toy to my home in Ohio! This kind of customer service is a rare delight. I truly appreciate the kindness I was shown here.
