Ok wow food is amazing the staff was super friendly and the food was great. We are from out of town and it was so awesome. I had the cheese burger and I was not let down it was so good .

Stopped in for lunch when passing through. Great little diner with friendly service. I had the chicken fried chicken. One of the best I've had.

My grandparents met here around 1950. It was their first date. There was a big football game between Dublin and Stephenville and after the game there was a big braul at Jack and Dorothy's between the football players. My grandfather safely escorted my grandmother out the back through the kitchen.

Best CFS I've had in a while. Love being able to order from kids/ senior menu. Plenty of food. My only complaint would be 10 oz bottled drinks being overpriced.

This place was great! The staff was friendly and the food.... their pies are out of this world!

I ordered the chicken fried steak with waffle fries were great. The batter was seasoned just right. The waffle fries were a little greasy and I wish they were crispier. The gravy needed a little salt and it was thick.

I will go back when I'm in town!

Horrible service!! We sat down and waited for about 15 minutes until the waitress came to our table. Took our orders as two other larger parties were seated (10-12 people). She took their orders right away and brought drinks, rolls, salads. Then their food started coming out while ours were nowhere in site. When we inquired, the waitress said they were super busy and it was coming. She brought some rolls after about 45 minutes of us sitting there. Drinks were empty kids hungry and we had to get my son to his graduation ceremony within half an hour.

After an hour while the large parties who came after us already got their food, we were very annoyed and got up to leave. Over an hour at a very dirty restaurant with rude staffs. WILL NEVER step foot in that place again! If I could give them a ZERO STAR, I would! Definitely not a small town hospitality for sure. 😒

Old restaurant with very nice down to earth staff.

I absolutely love little diners, but this one left so much to be desired. I gave 2 stars simply for the waitress who was sweet and friendly (even if she wasn't wearing her mask). The food was awful. The baked potatoes were hard. The steaks were tough and flavorless. And, I make better sandwiches at home. Such a disappointment. We had high hopes with the 4.3 rating.

Great little diner. Friendly atmosphere. We had the fried Cod fish fillet. It was delicious along with the coconut deluxe cream pie. We will definitely be back next time we are passing through Stephenville.

They claim the fries and chicken fried steak are their specialty, so that's what I had. The food was prepared very quickly. The fries were less than consistent in texture. The real downfall was the gravy, which was sickeningly sweet and ruined an otherwise fine meal. Good service.
