It was a nice restaurant but they weren’t open yet so I don’t know how the food is but I sure would like to go back and try it 😁

The best onion rings and catfish youll ever have. The prices have gotten to as high as Id ever pay to out but its still amazing food.

Clear Springs in Nacogdoches, TX is one of my favorite restaurants! One of my favorite items on the menu is the crab cake!!! It is rich and flaky! Super delicious! I also really enjoy their fried oysters! Yum!

Great food, great service. Would like to hear a little ambient music but still a nice atmosphere. Don't miss out on Clear Springs!

Got a recommendation to come here, and had an awesome experience. The food was great, but the service was even better. Trevor R. gave me some great recommendations, and his attention to detail made the experience relaxing, which was great after 6hours of driving and 8hours of work. My glass never dropped under half.
I had the Salmon and a Crabcake and they were both awesome.
I would definitely recommend this place, and will stop by again.

Changing my review: This time was a sad disappointment. Oysters were mediocre, at best, far fewer than what was on my plate last visit, two different shades of fry looked like half of order was reheated, just not good. Hushpuppies not up to par, rest of food as good as usual. Server was inattentive, 20 minutes to take our drink order, brings salad WITH the main course. So disappointed. I hope they are not following Auntie Pasta's downward turn. (September) **Original review from June: *****Consistantly excellent. Great oysters, for the middle of June. Top notch service, never a disappointment. Definitely try the crab cake appetizer, it's special. Primo desserts, a terrific bar with local Fredonia Brewing Co. beer, and interesting mixed drinks, such as "Dangerous Redhead."**

Our first time to visit and I truly had great expectations. How could you go wrong with a restaurant located in a historical building with overflowing ambience. No wait time at 5pm Saturday as restaurant was about half full.
Our waitress was adorable and attentive but could only serve us a quickly as the food prep could get it out.
-Best of the meal was an order of Fried Onion Rings with a wait of 20 minutes.
-Fish tacos were served with oily limp corn tortillas. Rice was cold and grilled fish was so so. At least it was served with Cilantro!
-The two Fried Fish Platters were better but still not 5-star.
-Why is everything served with pinto beans?
-Key Lime Pie was fair.
-Apparently, as indicated by the noise, the bar was full so perhaps that was where service was being directed.
-And lastly, the bathrooms were DISGUSTING! Looked and smelled like something you would see at a roadside gas station in the middle of no where!
COME ON GUYS...you have an excellent venue and a captive audience of hungry people who want to support you. Get it together!

The. Best. Onion. Rings. Ever!
The gumbo was excellent. Fries were really good. Nice little drink menu. Our service was great.
This is a grats seafood/ burger stop in Nac!
The warehouse environment next to the train tracks has a great atmosphere as well!

Fast and friendly service during slow period 5:15 on Tuesday. Fried crawfish tail appetizer not listed as being fried and came with a good remoulade but a lot of superfluous fries. Platter with bacon/jalapeño/shrimp skewer with separated blackened and pan seared catfish filets was ok, not special. Rice good, green beans over cooked, hush puppies blackened. No regrets but won’t return.
