Everything was great until I grabbed for a fried Crawfish tail and I got three ...because they were all stuck together with a foot long hair!

Loved it! Will definitely be coming back! 😁

Great place still to this day. Food was great and you get a big quality for the price. My father use to bring me here when I was a kid and now I bring my kids here to eat 25 years of service and it's been great every time.

We arrived and were seated quickly. Our waiter came over and took our drinks and appetizer orders. The appetizer came out quickly, and we placed our entrée orders. Well, 30 minutes into waiting, and after seeing others who were seated with us and after us get their appetizers and food, our waiter comes over to say it was his fault that our order hadn't been placed or something to that effect. Well, 20 minutes later, still NO FOOD; however, 9 more people received their food, except us. An hour of waiting, with a terrible appetizer and service. The waiter again tries to say it was his fault, but what are you doing to rectify the problem? Nothing! We were charged for the drinks and appetizer. We paid and left to not cause drama, but the manager SHOULD have, at some point, come over to rectify the situation. We were back in town for a funeral and just wanted to fellowship in my parents' hometown.

Sometimes good enough is good enough. Which is why I don’t have an issue with giving five stars, saying “the onion rings they are proud of aren’t really that spectacular, certainly not De Weese’s Tip Top Cafe quality, and the gumbo was just okay. Go for burgers et al and you’ll have an enjoyable experience in this lovely venue. Just stick with the most popular items.

Tons of tasty food for reasonable with great service.

We keep trying Clear Springs, hoping it will be better. Unfortunately, it just can’t seem to hit the mark for us.

Most recently, we ordered onion rings as an appetizer. They were very good, but we were given thin styrofoam plates to eat them off of.

Portions were quite small considering the $15-$20 price of most of them. I do remember portions being larger in the past, maybe a Covid cutback.

The fish and shrimp we had as entrees were decent, but cold.

Our table’s legs were so wobbly, and the table top rotated around if you bumped it.

Overall, some major changes need to be made to make this dining experience worth the price tag.

Always an awesome place to eat! Fantastic onion rings and chicken Fried Steak. One of the best places to eat!!

Love this place. The onion rings were on par just like the service. I had catfish this time but really you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
