Genuinely a decent little restaurant! Service is pretty slow a lot of time, but the food is great and that's all that really matters!

One of our favorite restaurants to eat at, in Huntsville Texas. We enjoy eating at this restaurant, they have a great variety of foods to choose from. We get something different most times were there, this time I had fried catfish dinner, and my wife had quesadilla. We met family there, and we all enjoyed our food. For dessert I had lemon meringue pie, and my wife had coconut meringue pie, and both were delicious. They were out of the blueberry pie, which was my first choice.

I use to get a good steak at Daisy's when I was in town but they stop selling steaks so I have to find a new location and wow I'm glad I found this place, I didn't give it five stars only because my initial drink ( sweet tea ) had something in it that didn't belong there but the young lady that attended me fix it immediately so other than that everything else was awesome.

The service was prompt and friendly! Our waitress had such a cute and bubbly personality that made you feel welcomed!
I got their 8oz serloin steak with seasoned fries and grilled vegies! The seasoning on the steak was the best thing I ever tasted!!

Great atmosphere and service. No Texas Haystacks, boo. Fried pickles were a good replacement. Chicken fried steak was tasty and big enough to share. Green beans and Mac n cheese for sides were tasty as well. Dessert was strawberry cake. The pic on Google maps looked wonderful! Our cake was dry with very little icing. Taste was there but overall our least favorite part of the meal. Next time we'll try the chocolate pie.
Aside from dessert, the meal was a success and our server, Gail, was delightful! We will come back for sure!

Overall good food. Skip the pie though, $5 for a very tiny slice definitely not worth it.

The server was very nice. Unfortunately everything else was a bit lacking. The food was ok. It took over 30 minutes to get our fried mushrooms appetizer. It took another 30 minutes to get our entrees, although we did order them the same time as our appetizer. The vinegar pecan pie was very good, but the chocolate meringue was literally horrible. It looked and tasted like it was really old. Even the consistency was awful. The atmosphere is sort of quaint, but unfortunately it didn't make up for the slow delivery of food and the so- so taste of the food. I absolutely love southern/ American style food, but just didn't quite cut it.

Awesome place I stopped at on my way through town. Loved the layout of the place. Food was very good as well. I got the pork chops which were fantastic!
